People are going to ask your VIP some pretty rough questions and sometimes be a-holes, regulating them is not your job and only a rookie or a bafoon would monkey with the press like that. (Of course, Bloomer has gforgotten that too, sending his people into other states to do investigations without the proper courtesises and notifications)The cop was acting like a buffoon, working a protection deal for a Marxist-socialist.He apparently hasn't been trained in the VIP protection racket either. The idea is that you get your principal away from these pesky journalists, or anyone else who gets too close. You don't fall off the formation, ( leaving a hole in the coverage perimeter) and futz with some guy who might just be trying to pull you off so that his partner can put another kind of hole someplace else. You stay in formation, keeping the principal in the pocket, and get him the fock out of there.The minute that "bodyguard" put his hands on me we'd be looking for an assault case.This has fail all over it.
