JD lowers - is there a version ii ?

I thought I read JD has changed the lower and the new ones are differnet.  cant find it now.  is this true and if so what are the differences.

JD is DPMS type compatible right ?

I have a JD Machine Armalite platform upper/lower set with a MIAD grip.. Previously I had a Noveske N6.

did you not like the n6? that would've been my choice over my larue originally but i was a little turned off because i wanted to use p-mags. they are purdy little rifles though
