Man...that poor palm....guess it was the protection rod being that tall. we have 2 windmill palms bout twenty feet tall that ive been nursing back to health cause the previous owners didnt fertilize them...they are my babies...lol glad you all are safe! :) Wash

blue109 Posted October 21, 2013 Author Report Posted October 21, 2013 I honestly hated the palms. Too much maintenance. I don't have time for a needy yard. I mix up a vicious concoction of Kills All weed killer and boric acid. Its like vegetation genocide. Even hardcore desert weeds shrivel in days. lay it down twice a year and it keeps the yard pretty tidy. I do have some pretty big cactus too but I like those guys and take care of them.
