ok, i know I'm being fickle but.....

I've been reading on line about adding a MRDS to my XDm9 via milling the slide and I've happened upon the S&W M&P 9 Pro Series C.O.R.E, which is factory cut for a MRDE and comes with suppressor sights. 

 

Now I want one of these instead of modifying the XDm9.

 

Anyone with M&P Pro Series expierience or any thoughts?

My duty gun is a M&P 40. I tried not to like it...but darn it I love the damn thing. I've shot nothing but perfect qual scores since we upgraded from the 4046s . I can only imagine the pro with a MRDS being awesome. Only thing I don't like is the mag safety and having to reach in and flip the little arm to disassemble( ruger-esq) but my buddy has one and removed both of those annoying items with minimal trouble.

Yep, the magazine disconnect would have to go for sure.
