Lowrider
Here's what I have to work with so far, any dope on pet loads that I can work up to using the mentioned components (or close) would be appreciated. Armalite 308 with Rock 5R 18.5" barrel, match chamber, rifle length gas. LC brass, 210 primers, smk 168 and hornady 168a-max IMR 4895, RL-15, Varget. I'll take loads for the 175smk as well but don't have the bullets yet. Have you got a similar rifle? What load works best for you. Thanks

bubbasks
I shoot lots of H4895 with 168 and 175 smk. My load data will be off from most due to the fact i use mag primers (damn hoarding painc buyers). But my 168 load is ~ 43gr and ~42 for 175s. 44 tends to be the general concensus with that pill (168] and powder. Im low 2700s out of 22"
bubbasks
Varget shoots good for accuracy but ive really had to load em up to get good fps
Lowrider
I've read a lot of good thing on both H4895 and IMR4895, and from what I've gathered so far Reloader 15 seems to be good with both accuracy and velocity. I've got a bunch ready to test...from(RL-15) 40.75 to 42.2 gr. I'm using mil-surp brass so I'm starting lower (as advised) Thanks for the reply. N Jensen
I used varget 43.5, 175MK, 9-1/2 and ww case. OAL length 2.795. Shot great to 1000yds just fine.H4895, 42.5 with a 168 or 175 would work just fine.
