But if you just want to take your handguards off and snap different ones back on, you are limited. I am not sure if the .308 nonfreefloat handguards are different than a typical AR15 handguard? A freefloat can be installed, but you will have to remove your existing handguard setup and barrel to install a freefloat and you will have to remove your front site tower. There are a few different versions out there for the .308 freefloat setup, you just have to figure out what you like. JP Enterprises, Daniel Defense and a few others.
