BRD51
These are the only .308 powders I have on hand that are listed in my reloading manual for .308. Has anybody reloaded either with 165 or168 g bullets? If so, what load? I don't really like the 4320 because you have to compress it so much to get anywhere close to a hot load. What is your preferred powder for these bullets? I will be using a 18.5" FA barrel.
bubbasks
My understanding is blc 2 is for the lighter projos 150 and below. I like 4895 for my 165s and up
N Jensen
Looking at Hogden website BLC 2 would work fine with good FPS with the 175. Ball powder would measure very good as well. I would go to the max right off the bat, Start at 44.0 g and go from there. Good luck.

BRD51
Thanks! I will try to find some 4895 to try.
bubbasks
4895 is my fav. I run 43 with cci mags or 44 with std on the 168. 1gr less on the 175s. Hot but not too hot
