IRA lower and Upper compatability

I recently purchased a IRA Lower 308, but found out it is a AR10 compatible not DPMS LR, with the angled back, will a mega arms upper fit a IRA lower?

Does it use AR-10 magazines? If so, I don't think the Mega will allow rounds to feed (but the receivers will fit).

Hmm. I've never heard of anybody else (not the gospel here) other than Noveske using the Armalite pattern. Not counting Eagle arms, who Armalite owns.

OK. I just looked at their website. They do say that they're making both patterns. Interesting, but they have the Armalite patterns listed as coming soon. I would assume (and we all know how that works) that you would have to use one of their uppers.....or maybe an Armalite upper. Just don't know enough about it yet. Looks like I've got some studying to do. Hmmmmm (scratching my head).

Not necessarily a lost cause. Just got to be careful when gathering parts for it. I would also guess (yeah) that you're going to need to get an Armalite patterned barrel.......maybe. Still....just don't know enough about them yet.

I have no interest in getting Armalite parts, I run all DPMS pattern all of my barrels and extensions as well.

I totally understand keeping with one pattern or the other. Makes keeping parts on hand easier.

maybe I can trade it to some for parts I need?

 

anyway I will see what IRA has to say

 

checked mags and it does not take DPMS mags so I am putting it up for sale / trade, thanks for the info
