I bought another one from Amazon that said "made in the USA" and although I haven't gotten it, I tried to find out who made it, and the trail ended at a few shipping companies named things like "tiger trading" etc. Def not made in the USA. Even if this doesn't work quite as well, it is lighter, and made here, so it is probably what I will end up using :-)
