redneckmedic
Everything I have found seems to say that a standard .223 gas block and gas tube will work for a .308, Does anyone have any information to back that up or bust it? TacBlade
They will work. The gas system works the same on the .223 and .308.
98Z5V
Some Armalite .308s have unique gas tube lengths, though. Otherwise, if you have a .308 barrel with a rifle length gas system, it'll use the AR-15 rifle length gas tube. Barrel makers usually state what gas system their specific barrels use. Pay attention to that on the AR-10-compatible barrels.
survivalshop
Just be mindfull of gas block diameters or gas block to barrel diameters, .750", .836 " ,.936 " and so forth.
