But we don’t offer a finished drop-in type 6.8 barrel – it would need to be finished by an AR gunsmith. The price for a barrel like this is $340 plus shipping and about 12 weeks on delivery. I haven't decided on a barrel , just checking around.That means it goes to somebody like Lance and sits on the shelf for another six months before it gets work for 2 or 3 days till its finished. DEER HUNTER Posted November 26, 2014 Report Share Posted November 26, 2014 I considered the 6.8 spc as well but I decided against it for the 6.5 Grendel. Don't get me wrong I'd love to have 6.8 spc as well but that's just another caliber I'd have to stock up on.
