  1. I recently ordered an EBR from Brownell for my DPMS LR 308. It came in about 5 days. I was surprised to see the mail truck roll up into my driveway on a Sun. afternoon. At first glance at my rifle I thought I was seeing a pin that was permanent because I could only get at it the way it went in. Upon a closer look I discovered that it was an allen wrench type screw that came out very easy. The removal of the original bolt stop and installation of the EBR couldn't have been any easier and it works great. It was far easier then installing the foot pegs to their mounting brackets on my Harley. If you've ever had to do that, you would know what I mean.
  2. Welcome from Central Texas and good luck with the build brother Magwa! <thumbsup>
  3. A DPMS LR 308 a 22" barrel. I have a DPMS LR 308B with an 18" barrel that is good for up to 800 yards for great accuracy. I added a Magpull PRS stock, palm rest grip, hydraulic buffer, Harris bipod and a B&T industries monopod. The scope is Accushot but I would recommend a good Redfield. They make great scopes for a reasonable amount. I will be adding a Geissele DMR 2 stage trigger next. DPMS makes a NATO REPR that just might be what you’re looking for or do what I did and got one that was basic and customized it as I went. I hope this helped. ;D
  4. In case y'all haven't seen it yet, here is a video that will make you think. <munch>
  5. If nothing else, get with your friends and family and put a solid pre-plan and reaction plan together just in case things get serious.
  6. HE SIGNS THAT THING AND THIS COUNTRY WILL BE ON THE BRINK OF ANOTHER CIVIL WAR!!
  7. I have one of these on my DPMS LR 308 attached to my Magpul PRS and it was very instrumental in zeroing my rifle. It’s well worth the money. <thumbsup>
  8. If you like ARs and want to hunt deer, then I would recommend looking at the LR 308s on the DPMS website. I have one and really love it. <thumbsup>
  9. I pick up Federal 308 ammo at Wal-Mart for less then $16 a box.
  10. Thought so. As I understand it, it's the Colts that have the bigger pins. Thanks for the reply. ;)
  11. Can anyone tell me what the trigger and hammer pin size is for a DPMS LR 308B? It's either a 0.154 or a 0.169 but not sure which. <munch>
  12. I never thought that inquiring about something that I heard on a TV show would stir up so much response. Thanks for all the great input and replies everyone.
  13. unforgiven cracks me up. <laughs> <lmao> ;D
