WOW.. one month for a transfer? I thought Major was ussually quicker then that. I can say I have never read anything bad about him. MAybe he was on vacation. So Drew have you got this rifle done yet? Where are the pictures?

They dont have what I want. What gives, I would think that every barrel maker/provider out there that offers a 308 barrel would offer one that is fluted.

Well has anyone got any leads on a barrel I decribed? I have searched every where and the only 18 inch fluted barrel I can find is the DPMS SASS.

Thanks guys, I would like to stay around the Fulton Price but Im not seeing a fluted 18 inch rifle system barrel there. So I have to look around. Its been a while sience I even looked at rifle parts so its almost like starting over. It seems that what I want I am only finding in a Bull, and Ii don't want a Bull.

This was sighting in at 50 and 100 yards with Bussnell DOA600. I aned to start a new target but ran out of ammo. If you have any questions about the barrel I can answer then ask of course.

I have the CMMG 300 BLK 16 inch carbine barrel. I bought it at a very GREAT price several months back. It is a good shooting rifle.

I cannot say one is better then the other, but what I can say is there is really no comparission to a 70's - 80's barrel to the barrels made now. Metals have come a long way and th metal is made to last much longer then it us to. Also as far as how many rounds can be put down a barrel before it is trash depends mostly on how well the shooter maintains their rifle, is the shooter using steel or brass, the weight of the bullet may too affect longivity, but there is no reason why a good grade of SS could not hold up to thousands uppon thousands of rounds down the tube.

Yeah, if it is about to break your heart, you should be feeling how heavy mine is right now. But school has to come first, I will build agine

Guys, I think I am about to cry. I have ruffly 1700 in this and am looking for 1300 as a whole. I would be willing to part it out as long as all parts are spoken for before the part out begins. I have a DPM lower with Fulton parts kit,SI Defence bolt catch screw and selector mod.....325.00 Maid grip kit...35.00 SI Gen II upper/w forward assist, ejection cover...325.00 Gessilliee DMR trigger....250.00 Troy MFG 13.8 inch quad rail...225.00 ACS stock and 6 position mil-spec tube,end plate, nut, spring, and buffer......170.00 All parts have been mounted but have never seen the light of day. So I say they are new. The only reason for the sell is I need to pay for school. I think I am about to cry, but I will build again. I would of been happy with 1900. When my wife and I went to buy we ended up getting a set of solid foam with foam pillow top and that with box springs cost me a little over 3000, but foam is not suppose to ever wear out so I get a lot of ^^^^^ that past time with that 3000

I would love to do all that , but after my speech I am sure that I would not forget what landed me life in prison. I tried to get permission to bring the lower , parts kit, and trigger to the collage but that was unexpectedly denied. I pretty much have my speech done I just have to have some kind of visual aid to go with it Damn legislation. On a bright side there is a bill being discussed to allow good law abiding folks like myself to carry concealed weapons on campus. So you got any pictures to send me or just a bunch of jokes.... ;D

Guys I am doing a speach in my speach class this Thursday. It is an informative speach and I am going to be informing my class on the process of assembling a lower reciever. The kicker is I have to have a visual aid with my speach. If anyone would not mind sharing pictures I could really use them. Any pictures you guys have of the lower being assembled would be great. The lowers do nt have to be all the same I just need them to help with my speach and thats all they will be used for. All this info about this round is on gunbroker by the copany making it. If it is not what they say I would like some clearification on this round. I for one would like an open tipped 130 grain round.
