  1. Left to Right Unknown Charging Handle, possibly AR10 DPMS Charging Handle AR15 Charging Handle Im still trying to figure out if the first one is indeed an AR10 Charging Handle. It has to be though.
  2. Yes!!! I want a 6.5 Creedmoor!!! Lets see some pics!!!
  3. imschur I like that one also!!! I have it on my new build!!! <thumbsup>
  4. I take it that both of those are AR10 Charging handles on the top?
  5. I am comparing the AR10 style charging handle to the DPMS style charging handle and need and Overall length on both? I have a DPMS style upper and of course the charging handle and I have what I believe to be an AR10 style handle. The AR10 style I believe is about 1/2" longer? The reason I am doughting this yet again, is that I found a company that is selling charging handles for the AR.308 style rifle and it says on their website, that one charging handle fits both styles? Thanks for any help here!
  6. Yes, All my freinds live in my head and talk to me!! LOL!!!
  7. LOL!!!!!! <laughs> <lmao> <dontknow> :) ;) :D ;D >:( :( :o 8) ??? ::) :P :-[ :'( <thumbsup>
  8. Hey Thanks! I got it out!!! I just used a small flat screwdriver and put some upward pressure on it while I pulled on it with the other hand and it eventually came out. Very tight fit! Thanks and have a good one!!!
  9. Hey TacBlade! Its a very tight fit on the JP Carrier and Bolts. You have to use something to pry on it and wiggle it out. JP has some very nice stuff and the tolerences are tight!
  10. I was going to strip it down real quick , but it did not work out so well? I pulled out the pin that holds the firing pin in, then moved up to the larger pin and attempted to pull it out, just like an AR15? But it is hitting the Gas key and I cannot get it out? Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks
  11. I am pretty sure now that the AR10 charging handle is about 1/2" longer than the DPMS CH. I am not 100 percent sure, cuz I don't have a AR10 upper to try it in. The one that fits in my CMMG upper is 1/2 shorter, so it has to be an AR10 handle. I am pretty sure that the AR15 handles are even shorter yet than either one of these? Thanks
  12. The Accu-Wedge does not work in the .308 AR, at least not in the CMMG lower. Its to big?
  13. My CMMG lower and DPMS upper, together do not fit to snug. There is a lot more play than any of my AR15s. Besides the JP AR .308 Tension Pin you can get, what else works to tighten that up? The little red rubber thing-a-ma-jig does not work in a .308 platform? Thanks
  14. He does GREAT Work!! On my .50 Cal AR upper, I had to install the Manufactures Heavy Hammer. That brought my pull weight to almost 10 lbs, yes, 10 lbs. I had Bill do a trigger job and it is now a crisp 3-4 lbs...Very, Very Nice!!!
  15. Yes, that sounds like a good idea! I think I will order one up also. Guess what? JP sent out the Bolt and Carrier today! I got a notice of shipping in an email. That was pretty quick, considering I just talked to them yesterday!!! I will be able to fire my new build finally!! But, like you said above, I should get one of the Go/No Go gauges first?
  16. This is an old post, but there is a strap wrench made from rubber that works just like the chain wrench you mentioned. You can get one that is sold for guns out of Brownells or you can go to Sears and get the same thing, but is sold to loosen stuff like oil filters. They both are made the same way, but way better than and not so scarry as the Chain Wrench!
  17. My short barrel works pretty good, my wife always has a smile on her face!!! <laughs> <lmao> <thumbsup>
  18. That looks like it could be pretty nice! A very good reason to start another build when I am done here shortly with my current one?
  19. Just got off the phone with JP and they told me that they have plenty of Carriers ready, but are waiting on the bolts. I tried to get them to just sell me the carrier, but they would not. I can get the bolt right now from Brownells. Just to point that out to everyone else, Brownells has the JP bolt in stock and they are very nice. I can get them for $10.00 cheaper at the dealer cost plus shipping. I am not a dealer, but have a business license on file at Brownells so I can get a little discount.
  20. Anybody have a answer to this one? Thanks
  21. No instructions came with it? Was I not suppose to put it up as tight as it will go on the barrel?
  22. I may learn something new here yet again today? I bought a charging handle way back from a guy that advertised a .308 AR charging handle for sale. I then bought my DPMS upper and it came with a charging handle. The first charging handle is about 1/2" longer than the one that came with my DPMS upper? Fill me in on the details here?
  23. If you took a look at my build post, I also just went ahead and eyeballed it also! I hope it works out!
  24. Got it together! Just need the bolt group to fire it! Crappy, Crappy Pictures!!! Sorry about that, I just snapped them quick in the kitchen! DPMS upper Kaiser 16" Barrel with Mid Length Gas hole Larue Gas Block JP VTAC rifle length handguard with full length top rail, 2" and 4" bottom rail Smith Vortex Flash hider Magpul forgrip CMMG lower DPMS lower parts group Magpul IMOD stock Magpul MIAD grip Magpul 20 rnd Pmag Standard Trigger with J & L Research Drop In Trigger Adjuster JP Bolt carrier and Bolt (In Route, I Hope) I'm thinking I will go with the JP scope mount and "What Scope?" is the question for me?
  25. I pulled the trigger on one of those today! Hope it does not take forever to get it?
