The only thing I am trying to figure out is, what stock I want on it. I have the SopMod that you see in the pic, a Magpul ACS and a VLTOR IMOD? They are all about the same, so I guess I will just switch them out when I feel like it? I also have a sling point attachment that is coming in the mail. It is made for he JP modular handguard that I have on this rifle and attaches directly to the handguard without using a rail. It is a Mount-N-Slot from Impact Weapons. If you have a JP handguard or any round handguard you should take a look at Mount-N-Slot, they have some pretty nice items. I am using mine for Coyote hunting and that is about it. I got a MARZ chest rig from Larue and put 2 .308 pouches and a triple pistol mag pouch on it. That is all I need!!! Yep I wear it out to the range also. Now, if I were a police officer swat or US Army Ranger, I guess there would be a little more Realestate on there, but I am just shooting coyotes and of course those poor little prairie dogs!!!! LOL!!! Also, I like this, as I can put my 20 round .223 mags in the .308 pouches if I decide to carry my AR15 instead.

I guess I am crazy!!! I have a heated 10' x 12' shed with windows and it is insulated. I have 3 cat towers and a video camera, so I can see in there. The camera comes in handy when the Racoons come over to chow down on the cat food and I go out and mow them down with my Glock as they come out the cat door. LOL!!!!! God that is fun!!!!

This is used, but not a whole lot. Still about 98%. It has a lanyard and the Leica Soft case with it. It is the newer, smaller model. Not the scan model. I will get pics up tomorrow. $475.00 shipped.

I just thought I would throw this out there. The Cabelas here has a HS Precision .338 Lapua Mag for sale. History that I know from a employee at HS Precision, which is based here in town also. Rifle was the employees free 5 year gun. Shot is 20 times, for testing in house and gave it to him. He promtly sold it to Cabelas here. Very, Very nice .338 Lapua, it is there heavy tactical version. Its $3100, if you want, I can go put it back for you if you want me too. I would buy it, but I just picked up my .50 and finished my .308 build. Let me know? Just trying to help out someone that might have the itch!!!! They do have a layaway program at Cabelas also. It will not last long, even at $3100. This is a new rifle price, but the rifle is basicly new. I have held it and carressed it myself!!!!

Welcome! I learn something new every day here! As of yesterday, I am now a firm believer of using an adjustable gas block on the .308 AR platform. I will have pics up sometime of what I did. Have a Merry Christmas!

I have had about every kind of sling out there and sold them for half of what I paid. I did it the hard way? I have found the MS2 sling from Magpul to be the best all around sling. You can go from 2 point to single point in 2 seconds. Now, my use is walking in the field to and from a coyote calling stand with the 2 point and getting back in the truck with the single point. LOL!!!! You may be able to make one that works the same for less than the asking price of $50 or find one used for 2/3 the price. But you still have to have the single and 2 point attachments also. I use the front attachment from MI and drill it out to fit the Quick Clip, pictured 3rd from left, http://www.midwestindustriesinc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_id=80 , and for the rear, I use the GG&G Agency addapter here 1st or 2nd one, http://www.gggaz.com/index.php?id=138&parents=153,174 , I know this is all expensive, but once you got it it is great. This works for me, but I am sure everyone has something different in mind. I chose the two attachment point on how they mounted. the front is the lowest profile one that would work, until Magpul puts their version out someday, which I have two on backorder from brownells. The rear mount was chosen because it has the hole to clip to on the upper side of the buffer tube and not down on the lower side. This keeps my rifle from twisting when it is hanging. Just my 2 cents and I hope it makes sense to somebody out there?

That is a 33rnd Glock 9mm mag! 3rd: CMMG lower and I built the whole thing from the ground up. Waiting on my new Nikon Monarch X 4-16 for Christmas. 4th: Smith & Wesson M&P decked out in all her upgrades. I just took the scope off and threw on the open sites. I am going to try this on the ranch. Those coyotes jump out close and I am having trouble getting on them with a scope. I may move to a Aimpoint or something.

What do you suggest with a regual Duplex reticle? For Windage and holdovers? This is kind of a basic question, but I am looking for some insight? What would you do for someone that shows up at your school with one of these reticles? Thanks

Are you asking me? I have the Larue extended on that would cover the area where a fixed site base would have been on a regular AR15. I just had that one, so I used it. I am going to go ahead and order a JP adjustable today.

Its funny they sent me a shipping confirmation on these and then when I got it, they said nothing on the sheet and it was only noted that numbers that were shipped. I also got some mag pouches and an awsome Girls with Guns calender and the shipping invoice said shipped 1 mag pouch, 1 calender and 0 .308 mag pouches?
