sounds like a plan.....but if it were me I would forget the bore cleaning after each shot...why dont you give the bore a cleaning before you go shoot....then just make sure she locks back...very critical on sorting out a problemo rifle....then shoot er up....as the guys always say...wet her up nice and good :) Wash

So....I was over at the HK forum reading up on my new USP Compact,and ran into a thread about this great laser for the usp/compact.....the HK's have their own type rail...so you gotta have their stuff or a bulky adaptor. the guys over there are swearing that there's a great laser that has the HK proper rail ...yep the omega for 29 bills....had to bite.....fleabay.....what possibly could go wrong? LOL :) Wash

Crispy smoked chicken so you wait for the wind to blow at 25 ::) knots get yourself a cut up chicken add some more drummies too! lightly oil the skin with heart healthy veggie oil <laughs> put your rub on...light up the smoker to 325 and light up the new smoke daddy with hickory chips ....get good smoke going....throw on the chicken...even the one that hit the ground....5 second rule! smoke for 1 hr 45 mins turning over at halfway point to skin down.....no sauce no nuthin no resting ..... dig in crunchy munchy after done with dinner...go over and help neighbor put out his roof fire :P Wash

Hi Big get yourself a 16" barrel....no bull type barrel....both of mine shoot sub moa out to 500..and they are nice to carry....my 18"s are closet queens....put an apex freefloat handguard on it.....its light and strong :) Wash

Beach in your other thread you have going....you got buffer tube,buffer,detent,spring problemos so being me I always go back to square one.....a well built ar308 should work with a car 308 spring and car 308 buffer and car buffer tube in your piece....no fancy stuff required....dont be spending big bucks until you sort out your probs first.....dont add variables to the equation right now........you dont know right now if your undergassed overgassed......or just passing gas....lol :) Wash

Hi Guys Char's parents just moved to assisted living so we had to de weaponize them before they moved this weekend. got some JC higgins bolt shotguns....worth anything? but heres some pics of a rifle that heck if i know what it is...serial numbers match all in english lil crosses different places.....have no idea what this is? then a real nice high standard double9 convertible .22 mag her Mom's beretta 950b .22short with paperwork from 1968...lol dont think its ever been fired price was 35.55...lol a savage case hardened 410 3" and .22 on top so here's some pics on this rifle and stuff :) Wash

welcome aboard Beach ! If it was me....I would start by getting a new 308 spring/buffer....and fix the spring issue with the detent for the buffer....seen that same beat up receiver picture elsewhere :) Wash also you gotta smooth out the beat up stuff in the buffer tube area of the lower
