  4. Hi Unforgiven 5.7 ammo is more costly...mostly bout 22 bucks per 50 ctd just gottem in at 19.50.....thing bout this gun is that its so light in recoil, and then theres boom factor with the awesome muzzle flash that you wanna treat it like a 22...and shoot and shoot and shoot <laughs> I swear a water pistol weighs more than this five seven does <thumbsup> Wash
  5. Hiya Guys Well, we just got home from char having her first pistol lesson from a pro lady instructor using the five seven...Char can smack steel at 500 yds with her 6.8 or 308 but she hasnt fired but maybe 20/30 rounds from a handgun...so tonite she fired 70 rounds in her hour lesson... target at 21 ft....the five seven is now HER weapon of choice <laughs>.. they worked on stance and grip and gun safety of course Wash

  13. Hi Madhouse ! "Tell me this isn't the easiest pistol you've ever field stripped, I dare ya. If there is something that tears down easier or quicker, I have yet to see it." No joking...ive only got one semi..the rest wheelguns...so I come home from buying it.. pulled out and read the manual...decided to fieldstrip it...pushed the latch and the gun is now in two pieces..."like what just happened?" im thinkin noway its fieldstripped...yes it was! thanks for the info! :) Wash
  14. Jgun Well said ! <thumbsup> Wash
  15. Geez Caveman... Your one freakin lil bit of pleasure outside the home has turned to crap...it just shouldnt be this way..an ar 308 aint rocket science for God's sake...btw why did you bypass the gunshop that sold you this piece of crap? I would think they would take it back...although I dunno much about buying from stores since I build em myself. I just hate that this is happening to you.... im putting a pox on the house of cmmg :( wash
  16. Hi Madhouse ! this five seven is a hoot to shoot..what are your opinons on the various rounds? I just got another shipment of ammo which brings me up to 500 of the ss195 and 500 of the ss197.You ever shot the leo ss198? And what bout elite ammo..ive ordered some of theirs but they are 4 to 6 weeks out. Char is going to take lessons with it next week...she's good with it, but I might be missing something on teaching her. So tell me bout the ins and outs of this five seven ...what do you think of the mag safety mod? :) Wash
  17. Hiya Black So have you got any problems with it ? :) Wash
  18. Hi Guys After the problems and lack of help from the factory some of our members have had with cmmg 308's..I wouldnt buy a bb gun from them.... ::) Wash
  19. Hi Guys after seeing the carrier its the problemo most likely...and you cant cycle it...sooo the cam cant do its thing the way the carrier slot for it is cut...making sense now...cam is fubared due to slot in carrier thus making the bolt fubar and thus making it not eject properly...that weak ejection at the one o clock positon aint even close to what a 308 should do...mine kicks'em way far at the 3oclock to 4o clock position...the delrin spacer is BS...and if you think about it....its trying to make up for out of spec carrier...hell ...maybe the lower is not right either....what do I know though?...I just build my own Geez fellas... I feel for ya....you gotta believe the folks at the factory should know what the deal is? they are tooling you around ....the cover up is always worse than the bad deed <dontknow> Wash
  20. Way to go Bob! Make em give you a new one! <thumbsup> Wash
  21. Know what you mean ....my implant is in my scope eye...do what I did....get a bigger scope <laughs> Wash
  22. Hi and welcome aboard ! Rainier arms just their select 18" barrels back in..ive got two of em...tackdrivers, lightweight and they are midlength gas ...that way you have more choices for free float handguards :) Wash
  23. Hiya Bob ! hate to say this ....get rid of that slug one way or another...make the factory take it back the gunstore that sold it to you or sumthin? I hope it was farther than 100 yds for the one inch group...any of my 308's will put one hole thru another at 100 enough is enough....I feel for ya...make it go bye bye :) Wash
  24. Hi Guys Well. we went to the range and broke in the five seven...dadgum this is a fine lil piece...shot a 100 rds of the 27 gr and not one glitch....we shot it last nite at the gunshop and had 3 fte's ..owner put in a full clip and dumped it with no failures...he said even though it was used it was still new as the owner never shot it ....so I come home take it apart and it was bone dry everywhere. I treated it like a new ar and lubed her up...bingo! Char was getting comfortable with it and thats a good thing! We shot two one gallon plastic water jugs at bout 20 yds and they just exploded....we like it <thumbsup> Wash
  25. Hi Guys brought the lil guy home tonite...we tested it out before buying...geez if the bullet misses the badguy...the flames wont <laughs> Robo you're right on...no kick, easy to use,and fun! cant wait to go to the outdoor range tomorrow <thumbsup> Wash [img width=810 height=607]http://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h414/washguy/IMG_0338.jpg
