My stepdad and his partner Gordon who was a Boeing 747 jet engine mechanic after getting rid of the third 172 got a Cessna 177B Skyhawk and had over $30 k each into it. Here are some sample pics of that plane. They added a third partner and his $36 k and sold the 177b and bought a Cessna 182. That was a nice plane , I only flew in in twice before my stepdàds health went bad.

My is made from a 6.8 mag and I have a peice of white plastic as a block in the mag. Seems to flow but have not shot with it.

His hanger was at Arlington Field which was a decommissioned Air Force Base with a 5000' runway. The closest airport was Snohomish with a 978' runway. We went to a lot of airports just to eat lunch. Blaine, Oak harbor, Martha's Lake, Issaquah and a bunch others.
