Welcome from up in the Panhandle. I reckon you'd need to be well armed down there. I haven't had my AR-10 but for a few months but I am really likein it. There's plenty of wide open spaces up here for long range shootin. On a clear day you can see the back of your head.

Welcome from up in the panhandle. I thought their carbine barrel lengths were 16". Maybe your barrel was cut down. -
I mostly carry a Kel Tec PF-9. Sometimes a S&W K Frame 3" .357, or an LCP in a pocket holster.
