When people in government bypass due-process with "kill lists", any deadly force comes into question. Lawful arrest warrant for one person, David Koresh. "Killed" is correct, as all surviving Branch Davidians were acquitted of murder charges. When agents enter a second story window, and the last person (still on the roof) starts shooting into the window that was just entered, only then was it that rounds started coming out the wall...his fellow agents returning the fire he so generously unloaded into their backs. The media and politicos successfully slandered the BDs so that Americans who should've been up in arms over 80+ people being killed while serving that arrest warrant for one person (David Koresh), that a majority said "Those cultist freaks got what they deserved." That's a hell of a constitutional oath being fulfilled there by those agents, both BATF and FBI. Yup...agree 100% on that. Jon

In Casa Grande yesterday with the ANG folks, one of them scooted the XD9 across the concrete bench and everyone else tensed up and looked at me. Scooted it back and forth and kept talking like nothing happened. :D That same XD9 I'd take in a class and rub a key ring on it so hard that there would be brass stripes on the slide. Invariably students would later ask "What's that pistol you were grinding the key ring on?" Jon

Don't know. Shoot it with the sights you get and find where it hits. I never had (easily) adjustable sights on anything until I was in my early-20s. Shooting lots helped me dial in loads with Kentucky windage. I need to shoot that much again. Jon

Take the time to read over the negotiations of GATT, any of the _AFTA agreements (they are getting ready to pass TAAFTA now), WTO, IMF, any of that bullpoopy. They see national populations (the world populations) as inconvenient chattle, another resource to be exploited politically and commercially. I had been intrigued by the XD pistols and their reputation, not long after they were first marketed by SA, but didn't want to take the plunge without speaking to someone in person that had one. A customer came into the store wearing one, which was all scratched up and beat to hell. After inquring, he said he'd been out rock climbing and gone up a 200' incline (too steep to walk, so they used rope to ascend). He got to the top, removed his harness and the belt snagged the XD which pulled out of the crap holster he had, then skittered, fell, and tumbled down the 200' they had just climbed. Went down, picked it up, BLAMBLAMBLAM!! Reholstered, reclimbed, went on their way. My Kimber never would've done that. Jon

How much of the trigger take-up does the Springer-kit eliminate? Overtravel? That Powder River dropped right in. :banana: :whip2: It did need a bit of "fire fitting" (about 50 rounds) but you shot it...all good now. Why not try the XDM for the next one? >:D Jon

I'm telling you guys, that GG&G QD Bipod is identical to the Weaver Tactical Bipod I have, only it has the GG&G QD lever. The WTB has a thumb-screw/wingnut type attachment. Same price usually, Sportsman's Warehouse had them on clearance for 50% off. Jon

That's ridiculous...death is death, so long as it is quick. We aren't removing flesh a pound at a time. Hanging, shooting, electricuting, gassing, and lethal injection are levels and levels of humane above what most of these scumbags are accused of doing. Jon
