took her out to the range on saturday and blew off about 100 rds. got her sighted in shooting sub moa-moa groups with some pmc 147 grain ammo. more than please. shot some steel reactive targets and now i'm hooked on those

how is the fit and finish on that cmmg lower? i wanna build a light battle ar308 i have it down to that cmmg and the mega billet set. looks great by the way

if you have a fixed stock already then the new prs just bolts right up. if you have the collapsible carbine type stock then you need to buy the rifle buffer tube, rifle buffer and rifle buffer spring to make the prs work on the carbine system. i have the prs 308 on my dpms and i love it....soooo adjustable. heavy but A+

do you mean between the end of the hand guard the the front of the gas block theres a gap like for a trim ring?

i got it off brownells. it was back ordered for about 2 weeks. i love it.

awesome project. i am finishing up my 308ar project and i may get into a 300 blkout. have an extra upper and lower i was thinking of a 9mm ar or 300 blkout awesome project. look luck with you project and just following this thread

you gotta install the jam nut first. thread it all the way down. then thread on the muzzle brake all the way done. unthread as much as you need of the muzzle brake so the ports are aligned to the right and left. then tighten the jam nut to the muzzle brake with the ar wrench. i just installed one this morning

i have one on my ar308. i love it. super lightweight. comes with 2 3" pictanny panels which are aluminum and one 5" panel. i have the 11" they make a 13" too.

i love my rail. yea it took like 30 minutes to mask off but it looks awesome. never seen anyone with an od green troy rail. always see black and FDE. just wanted something different. overall i am very happy with my choices. more updates to come very close to being completed. very excited

is it easy to check yourself or should i just take it to a smith?

anyone have any experience with Privi Partisan 168gr match BTHP? i had it narrowed down to that and the pmc 147gr FMJBT. pmc is $265 for 500rds and the Privi Partisan is 365 for 500 rds. i use federal gold metal match 168 in my bolt 308

my upper is 90% complete. i have a dpms sass series barrel and dpms upper. i am going to buy a dpms BCG on payday. since everything is from dpms do i need to get it headspaced?

kudos my man. way to think outside the box. anytime i do a build i always try to do something that you normally do not see or something noone has done. A+ for creativity. you can always say that noone in the world has the same ar308 as you. plus if you do catch poop. just tell them EAD good job bro
