i have the middle height one. the old one was way high then mine then the new lower one. so if mine is a lil lower i maybe able to go with 1/4

i just measured my upper i have the old style dpms upper. now the vtac jp free float with the rail will line up then? does anyone know how tall that jp branded rail is? i seen similar ones from yhm in 1/4" and 3/8" tall for a 1/4 of the price

started the assembly today. going to order more parts to complete the upper friday. got a jump on things. took only a few minutes. I have been wanting an AR-308 for years but never had the money. now i do and i have already built 3 ar15s and i wanted a different build. I couldn't find anything i 100% liked out there, ar308 wise. So what do you do? adapted and overcome and build your own. I did a ton of research and I wanted to get a very accurate and reliable rifle. i have that mount in my cart on midwayusa. i can't wait to buy more parts. i'm gonna post my build here in a few days or tonight if i get time
