Personally I would choose the .308 over the .338F for typ. deer hunting and even the occasional elk or moose hunt, ballistically the 338f isn't a big enough improvement over the 308 to justify the cost and availibity of ammo. If I were predominantly hunting north american big game at long ranges I think the 338 win mag or 338 ultra mag would be the way to go.   19. I'm new with ARs so take this with a grain of salt, Trigger,muzzle brake, scope mount> I like to keep my scopes as close to the center of the bore as possible, yours looks higher than necessary imo, welcome to the site,stright jackets arn't included ;D

  22. When you tried it in your friends gun did he use his own mags or your sons mags?
  23. My interpretation of the 2 was that the fsc30 was more of a run & gun close quarter brake and the prc brake was more for percision shooting?
