They do both. The "G" is for their mated lower. The "S" is for any standard lower. Just trying to help. :)
-
Got it. The JP SCS said I might have to finegal it past a 2 stage trigger... But mine isn't in yet. :)
-
How would it interfere. I was going to put the trigger in, but have to wait for anti walk pins.
-
There is supposed to be a lever in the machined port. A plunger pin goes thru the receiver to the other side for the mil spec bolt catch. http://megaarms.com/ar-15/lower-receivers/billet-lowers/gtr-3s-ambi/

So I got my Mega Arms ambi billet today. I really like it. The anodizing is so silky. Nicer than the BCM upper. Unfortunately, no ambi bolt catch. There was a bit of confusion on whether it came with it or not. Finally called Mega, and ya, it was supposed to come with it already installed. All they asked was my address and said it's on the way. Great CS. Just so you guys know, the forged is $120, billet $200. The ambi billet with ambi bolt catch is only $25 more. Looking at pics, it's a really nice setup compared to others. For right handers, so much nicer than levers of some sort. For $25 more, it's a no brainer. My LPK was supposed to be delivered today too... I guess there is always tomorrow. I scored a LNIB Aimpoint pro for a great price too. Should be here Thursday. Hopefully I'll be shooting this weekend.

Thanks guys. I'm really glad I went keymod. I don't care for quad rails, and the BMC guard is really nice. Very slim. They were still doing the free BCG and free Mod 0 comp, so I took advantage of it. I'm not going to clutter it with covers. I think just a hand stop and I'll be good.
-
I had a Mech Armory latch and planed on getting another. The BMC was discounted though. I was a little worried the ambi latch would be too big, but it's fine. I'm happy with the BCM.

Prices being what they are, I couldn't say no. I got a BCM midi upper with 13" keymod and ambi gunfighter latch. Topped it off with Spike Tactical flip up sights and Aimpoint Pro. The upper came Friday and hopefully I'll have the Aimpoint by the end of the week. The lower is a ambi Mega billet, G2S trigger, BAD SS, and troy ambi mag catch. I'm a lefty. I bit the bullet and went with a JP silent capture spring. Stuck with the ACS-L stock. All that will be here Monday. The bad news is I sold the 308 and a pistol to do it. I don't hunt, and it just wasn't as practical for me. I wanted a SHTF do everything gun, but don't really need the range. The plan is to build another upper in 6.8 spc at some point. We'll see. I'm excited about this build. Everything I want with nothing left undone. I'll post pics when it's done.

I'm waiting for cable. I watched his 60 minute interview a while back and wanted too since. Reading the beginning of this thread, it is interesting about Hollywood and all... but we still want to see good stories... if they are done right. I just can't stand propaganda pieces. During the war there were a few. I happen to like Walberg and the stuff he does. But I don't see or not see movies based on the actors. HBO did a documentary called "Alive Day Memories" James Gandolfini produced and moderated and it is about wounded soldiers coming home. I really didn't want to see it. I thought it was a propaganda piece trotting out our wounded... and Gandolfini was popular at the time with Sopranos, but he said it was about them.... I didn't want to disrespect them watching B.S. Well it was none of that. Gandolfini introduced them and then let them talk. It had nothing to do with war, or a "message", or Gandolfini for that matter.... It was about the incredible stories and the undying spirit our brave Men and Women have. Absolutely incredible. See it if you can. "Saving Private Ryan" was epic. "BoBs" being the mini series has yet to be rivaled. I liked "The Pacific".... but not as good. I liked "Generation Kill" too. I took me back to being in. I was in that very same unit.... except I was in the Navy. :) I just liked it because I thought it was an accurate picture of service life.... at least it was of mine, and I wasn't infantry.

I love this forum and the guys on it... but that is what I don't get at all. Guys here joke around and cuss all the time. (Which is fine by me) I typed one word (joking) a while back and got warned this is a family site... then just the other day I get porn in my face and .... nothing. Not that I mind a vagina... can I say that.... wait... can "I" say that.... because it seems anything goes for a few... but "I" should probably not say t... wat. I might get another warning for that.
-
You mean like so unheard of it is pretty much impossible? ... shoot, that's nothing... a friend took me bowling and I got a 300 my first game. Nobody could believe it, but I didn't see what the big deal was.... I mean they just got done cleaning all the balls in the rack....
-
Don't worry about Francis. He just needs to lighten up. I got a good laugh. If you had joked around about sleeping with someones wife... ya that might get you punched if you are not friends enough to do that.... but making a claim of shooting better than pros on the interweb as a joke... seriously... we have to be brothers to do that here? Tough crowd.

Yes, it's drilled in. And that is straight from HK. that is how they do it. you can order triggers with it straight from them. so that isn't a "Bill" thing. It started in USPs as their "match" set up. There is another gun smith that does trigger work on HKs and they add material internally for an over travel stop. I haven't seen it, but it seems more elegant if that is what you are after. That isn't adjustable though.

I made this for other reasons, but I'm posting it here just to show off my new pistol. I really really like my new P30. What a sweet pistol. Already want one in 40. Maybe a P30L in 40. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdZWOz354NI&feature=youtu.be
