  1. Bought a 10 pack as the freight difference between a 5 pack and 10 pack was within pennies. I have right at $30 in these with freight to my door, I will sell individual or any# up to 5(keeping the orig 5 I wanted) for $30 plus the usps small flat rate box ride. If you can use them, it may save you a few pennies as It should come up to like $31.25 apiece for the 5 shipped in one box. Thanks, Mike
  2. The ending was tough, but needed to be done, just as they did! The theatre we went to see it at was the same way, applause at the end, not one hat on anyones head and utter silence thru the whole movie was astounding.
  3. Need a like button for both comments!!!
  4. Yes, I just used a small square file and made the dimension match the factories. Seem to work ok but haven't been able to shoot enough to be comfortable they will feed perfectly.
  5. Just a FYI, not sure of the manufacturer of these but I did order and receive two mags. They look good but the mag catches were incorrectly milled in, ie about .030 to close to the edge. It's an easy fix but they don't function they way they were shipped.
  6. <lmao> waiting...patience..what's that...lol. But really, I am waiting and will continue for as long as it takes!!!Just thinking it might take the edge off during the wait...
  7. http://www.kyimports.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_7_31&products_id=70 Have had some 20rd'ers ordered from Armalite for some time now...not being impatient but would like something besides the 10rd ones I have now. With that said, the bolt lock back isn't a big deal but proper feeding is. Anyone used these or have any feed back on this company? Thanks,Mike
  8. Copy and paste from xdtalk...so who knows the validity...
  9. Excellent!! I just read an article stating the same. I don't know how much it will help, but I'm going to write to the manufactures I have purchased guns from... If we could get Armalite, Colt, Springfield, Glock and a few other majors to show up, it would hit it out of the park!
  10. Hell Ya!!! <thumbsup>
  11. <thumbsup> I hope more manufacturers step up and follow suit, actions Speak louder than words. A few ammo suppliers stepping up would be awesome!
  12. Leather IWB here. EDC gun is an XDS so this works well no matter the attire. One more nice Leather maker too check out is Dan at Zlogonje gunleathers. I was more than happy with his service and price. Those Mernickles do look nice <thumbsup>
  13. <thumbsup> You never know till you ask!!!
  14. New here so I hope I'm not stepping on toes...if so please delete this or tell me. http://www.freedommunitions.com/category-s/1881.htm Seems .308 has been popping up as available from time to time, they have new and once fired brass reloads. I ordered a box of 240 new brass last week just because I can't find brass locally or thru Brownells/midway. If I have any problems I'll be sure and post up!!! The price didn't seem great but way better than I have seen lately...
  15. I hear you!!! I just about pulled the trigger on a new one last november but didn't for whatever reason, IE. stupidity on my part...then Obama...sandhook ect... so I figured I better jump on this one as it had less than a box of ammo thru it and it's condition shows it.
  16. I know I've been thinking the same thing myself... but every time I think they could come up with a scheme like this, to move this much inventory, they prove to me they couldn't have come up with it...mabey stumbled on it by accident. BTW, I contacted Armalite last week and was astounded I got an answer in less than 48hrs.
  17. That link was one the one I was questioning...mine looked like like the b model but they said if it has an A on the lower like mine it was an A model. When I bought it I assumed the a2 was the model designator like always. Thanks for the input! Mike
  18. I thought the same thing, I searched A2-CBS and the only thing that came up on google was CBF... I double checked the origional box and it is, for sure A2-CBS
  19. Like the title says, new to me AR-10. Looked at the thread posted on visual difference and I thought I knew what I had but now I'm not sure...already ordered B series magazines from armalite so ... The box says 10a2cbs which I assume is a2 stock, which is correct, cbs I assume is carbine and SST barrel which it is. The part that is throwing me is the other thread talks about the differences, mine has the B style magwell, no ridge from the mag release down the side, flat spots on the upper. with that said I beleived AR-10B but the lower reciever says AR-10A2 and the pics say it should only have the A if it's an A model... I'm tickled pink no matter what, it's jsut nice to know for sure what it is. Pics to follow Thanks,Mike
  20. Glad to find your site. Not new to the shooting or AR world, Just new to the 10 platform. Thanks,Mike
