  1. Option for Armalite ?
  2. It's kinda hard to argue with logic like that.
  3. I'm on the fence about a new Siaga 12
  4. That's too funny
  5. I'm with Shepp On this one fellas, I wear my 1/2 helmet all the time on on Street Glide. I've seen too many cases were people would have lived if they were wearing one and / or were intoxicated.
  6. Yeah but the car probably has a better warranty and service plan <laughs>
  7. Its gonna look nice on that rifle
  8. :threadjack:
  9. I personally don't care for a scope I have to fiddle with If I cant range it using my cross hairs then I'd rather spend the money on a good laser range finder if thats the case. Also something to remember about ballistic ret.s are they are set up from the factory for one specific barrel length, bullet weight and velocity period.
  10. Don't forget the medical bills for all those STD's unless its a high dollar Vegas Escort even then your taking a gamble lol.
  11. G2B Mildot with Mil/Mil and run a FFP and illum ret. Once you go illuminated you wont go back.
  12. That's the optic I am running on my SASS and I love it. I forgot to mention that as a price. BLK if you don't mind I am going to repost this on the MTAC scope question.
  13. Sorry about that the old saying goes that the scope should cost 2 X The Cost of The Gun. I am running a Steiner Military Grade 3-12 x 50 so it almost cost as much as the AR-10 Super SASS it's on. I'd run the G2B-Mil-dot and go with a mil.knob that way you don't have to do the math in your head for hold over such as the conversion formula. The mil dot ret will match the adjustment or vice versa. These are good scopes for the money until you start hitting Night Force and Steiner ect. I don't know how short of a distance or long you will be shooting. The 34mm scope is going to add a little bit of weight and that 3-15 will get you what you need. Remember when it comes to scopes, buy once cry once. If you have questions about how much of the Steiner influence went into Burris give them a call those guys a call, they will will talk to you. The reps are very knowledgeable about their product and can answer your questions. If you wonder what a 34 mm tube looks like on a .308 I'll be glad to show you a pic. BLKSHEEP posted this in another thread, this is the exact model I have and love it. I also bought this through Ero-Optic http://www.eurooptic.com/steiner-3x-12x-50mm-g2-mil-dot-rifle-scope.aspx
  14. Like the old joke what do women and tornadoes have in common ? The make noise when the come and take everything when they leave.
  15. Yep it cost me a Fortis angle grip for that new grey Daniel Defense I bought. I tried it didn't like sent it back but I posted my comments on it. Thankfully my Google-foo is strong and I know how to search the 3 forums I belong to, but this one is my favorite.
  16. I like Burris they make a solid scope, I prefer the XTR2 series in the higher magnification ranges beginning with the 3-15 as they are similar in design to the older Steiner's. If your going the 1-4 route the MTAC or Vortex PST are pretty much neck and neck.
  17. Tell her its a character building exercise.
  18. welcome from SW Ohio
  19. OMG I need bleach for my eyes.
  20. Only their .308 is proprietary, 5.56 you can mix and match.
  21. I can rust the $hit out of a gun with my sweat. I am all about comfort however I am also about protecting an investment. let us know how the holster does.
  22. How do you think it will if at all wear on your finish, I gave up on Kydex and 1911's I carry my Sig Ultra Carry in a Stoner Leather really like it.
  23. Between Guns and owning a Harley, yep I will die poverty stricken, yet happy.
  24. That actually does help us crime scene guys a little bit when investigating a scene where a vehicle was involved. Also you'd be surprised about the other things we can trace and those you'd think we could but can't. The ammo-ban is just another ploy of control and ignorance shinning through.
