Thanks for putting up the pics

So they are a waste of money? One of my pins has walked out just a little bit on the 308, I punched it back, I have only put maybe 250 rounds thru it. I heard of these so I thought they would help. I'll see if it happens again. These just seemed like cheap security.

I have the DMR in my ar-308. I want to put these on the gun. http://www.knsprecisioninc.com/gun-parts-and-accessories/kns-lower-receiver-parts/gen-st-non-rotating-trigger-hammer-pins-154-diameter-black.html They will work right? I'm pretty sure they are the same for the ar-15 and ar-308

Decided to not build a second upper. I'm selling my spare 308 upper. Comes with forward assist installed. Only used for a mock up and cycled the bolt/charging handle a few times. NEVER BEEN FIRED. purchased in April of this year. For 335$ Asking $300...... and I'm open to some trades. I can email or text photos

I was hoping to trade my OD GREEN PRS stock for a FDE PRS for a 308. I will also throw in a NIB magpul grip with rubber over molding. Has the little storage compartment for tactical treats!

After looking at one of my other rifles, that bolt had the same chamfer/ ramp that u say is the issue. The bolt catch doesn't catch there, it catches at the end of the bolt and not on the carrier. I'll see if it happens next time, I'll prob shoot this weekend.

Thanks! I couldn't be happier with it. I just need to figure out the bolt catch thing and I'll b good. This thing shoots better than I could have hoped.

So I went to the range on Wed. I shot all the guns that day. I did have a few issues with the 308. I noticed that when I would lock the action open it wasnt always staying back. or if it did stay back, I bump the gun and it releases the bolt. Its like the bolt catch is just barely catching. I also feel like my buffer spring is too stiff. It seems to take alot to pull back the charging handle. I have a badger ordinance handle on the reg DPMS charging handle and it is pretty hard to use it to pull back on the charging handle. I need to use two fingers and pull it back using both sides of that handle. I am looking to get a different charging handle tho. I thought maybe after time the spring would loosen up enough to make the handle easier to charge. Any advice??

Can't any of you say... "That part is really nice... Keep that, there's no need to buy ANYTHING else for the gun... The build is done". Lol. Just went shooing yesterday.... Got home and started ordering parts for my other 2 ar builds. Great...

I originally ordered the the ssa-e for my ar-308 but then changed my mind once it arrived and returned it for the HS DMR. I wanted to be able to adjust the trigger. I absolutely love the trigger. I messed with the sear and pull weight. I absolutely love where it's at. I know some like the Gold, I too was almost gonna go that route. Prob can't go wrong with either. Ill be putting the Geisselle triggers in all the ar style rifles I have

NO LONGER FOR SALE

Hes a psych patient.... it wasn't his fault! It was the gun that killed everyone! Its the fault of the people that sold him the gun, parts, mags, rounds! They caused this! What a fvckin joke! I feel terrible for the victims, but this moron acted on his own and planned this. Hes crazy. Im pissed that he had an AR. Just when things were settling down a little. I dont think this changes anything. All the bills are already in place. THis is just another nut job

Highly recommend BayouTactical.com I ordered 12 mags at RETAIL price from them. Placed the order online on a sunday. They emailed me back THAT NIGHT. Tracking number monday morning.....Order shipped monday morning. Already got my mags. Great service and prices. They do USPS flat rate boxes so they stuff them and keep it cheap. I looked everywhere and everyone is just gouging people for mags. Bayou is getting reg shipments. Call them if the site says they are out

I couldnt figure out were to ask this. I would like to cerakote my rifles. Does anybody here do it? I would like a pattern. I watched some youtube vids, and these guys are coating everything.... trigger, bolt carrier, mags.... etc. I dont think Id do my BCG as its NB. Not sure Id do the trigger as its a Geissele DMR and I wouldnt want to mess up the functioning. I would really like to get this done. What does it cost and where can I get it done. Thanks in advance

I missed this! I did order 6 30 rounders for the 223. If anyone has some 308 mags they want to part with let me know!! Nevermind.... He emailed me back this am. I ordered yesterday and he boxed my order last night and it was sent first thing this am! He shipped out 6 308 pmags today too. He took them off the site due to an event hes going to I guess. He said another order is coming this week tho for pmags. Hes not ripping people off like most are and shipping is flat rate and he is fast. I will def be ordering from them again! Nice guy, gave me free shipping on the 2nd order of mags.

Went shooting Sat in Petaluma. brought the wife. Did some pistol shooting, shot the AR-15, shot the 22. Spent most of the time teaching the wifey. Had alot of fun. Was able to get some rounds with the 308. Heres 300 yards. First shot... low left... second.....still low. Adjusted, put a 5 shot group. I wish I had more time out there. We had to get back cuz we had a sitter. Still a blast!! I adjusted my trigger from the first range visit. Played with the sear and added some pull to the second stage. It was at its lightest last time.... its prob at a pound now. THis was some hornady match my buddy let me try... 168 gr hpbt I think. I still need some practice.... Im happy tho for my second trip with the rifle.

Not too bad... did it twice... First time my ride height was too high and I was too narrow. I did both the front and rear twice.

Nice rifle man! You are close to the Sac Valley range. Went out there last week. Super nice. YOu can shoot 300 as a non member. Take in a 5 shot group from the 100 and they give you a card to shoot the 3. They have a 1000 for members. Were gonna try and become members. That range is great. We are headed to Petaluma to shoot today.
