  1. Spring is SPF
  2. JP Captured Spring/Buffer for 308 New, not used in latest build. $120 shipped MO. $125 discrete PP
  3. Mine worked.
  4. New family member. 16" MA TEN OD Updated Family Photo
  5. They work fine in DPMS carriers, that is what I use ... all with JP Bolts. I have a never used DPMS (308) bolt if you are interested, I got the JP because of the finish but the DPMS would probably work just fine. I Gunkote all my carriers with Hi-Lube PTFE black , FWIW for the same reason.
  6. Any LPK will do they are all the same - I never use the grip or trigger, and buy the bolt catch separately if not included in the lower. Geissele triggers work fantastically, it is all I use. Mostly SSA-E but a couple HI-Speeds and bought a couple SD-E's at the NRA (at a discount insert smiley face here). Bolts and Carriers are very hard to find now. I have been buying stripped DPMS carriers from Midway and a JP bolt wherever I can find them (way too expensive now but I am hooked), I get gas keys, completion kits wherever. Whatever gas block you get make sure it is adjustable. The rest looks good to me.
  7. I have three builds with Rainier UM barrels -16, 18, 20. You need to be careful on high power loads. Mine had issues with Nosler Custom Comps and Black Hills Red Box Match with pressure. I have since started reloading and now have found the right load. I also have head spacing tools and measured my chambers extensively to confirm. Most all other loads are no problem. Just inspect for pressure signs.
  8. It certainly is impressive but my WFT mounted in a drill press works great at this point with fast consistent results . YMMV
  9. Well if my MA TEN set didn't just ship from Rainier I'd be all over it. These are really nice pretty much just like Mega. I talked to these guys at the NRA Convention and they seem to be right on with some good stuff. I use their tac latch on all my builds whenever I can.
  10. Nothing against TPAL but these do just fine and I bought them because I got a price from other members on SnipersHide. The barrel was done in Patriot Brown. I may do the scope and Atlas bp at some point.
  11. I am in the process of building my third MA TEN set and have used Slash's Heavy Buffer in both ( 1 rifle and 1 carbine). They both work great but I always have a thing for JP and wondered if there is any downside for the JP in a 308. I put a JP in a AR15 recently and no complaints just curious if any issues in 308 or just stick with another HB.
  12. JP Bolts are just about all I use .... too bad the price on these things have skyrocketed. I can't believe I just paid Rainier $164 for one yesterday.
  13. Good to know ~ I have a stripped carrier I got from MidwayUSA that needs a gas key.
  14. Looks like a pretty good price although it might be a bit of work with that tar seal.
