  1. What I've used for 308's (in no order of preference) with various 168gr/175gr/180gr projos IMR 4064 (the "standard") Varget (the other "standard") IMR 8208 XBR (works really well!!) RE15 AA 4064 (meters better than the IMR twin) CFE-223 (higher velocities!!) Stuff that is supposed to work but sucks: IMR 4320
  2. What I got in the mail today: WOOT!
  3. Yep... I save all my brass but the FGMM ones seem to work even better for reloading.
  4. Considering retail prices: SMK 175 BTHP = $.40 45gr of IMR4064 (45/7000 x $29.99) = $0.1927 - (I made this 45gr instead of 41gr to account for loss/spills/stupidity) Primer = $0.04 Brass = "free" Total per round $0.6327 If you look around and find discounted prices, the cost can go down somewhat.
  5. This is how I picture Ed resting his butt on his bean..er rice bag. <laughs>
  6. I'm sorry, I failed my fellow forum members.
  7. I really gotta get the movie....
  8. armalite carbine extension + AR15 carbine buffer + armalite 308 spring = works
  9. It was more than acceptable when it was on my 5.56. BigP623 bought it off me... wonder what he thinks.
  10. Had one of them minimalist stocks. It was nice, on par with Magpul IMO, then I sold it becuase it didn't quite go with what I was trying to achieve on my build. :D
  11. My Nissan NV3500 bus..... er......urban assault vehicle can eat your Excursion for breakfast. <laughs>
  12. IF they are side by side at 26,000 feet (or even 33,000 feet), the AN-26 would still be half (wingspan ~95ft vs ~200 ft) the size of the 777. Having them side by side makes it easy! Same goes for the mini vs excursion at 26,000 ft. <lmao> <laughs> just giving Tom his daily dose of cråp. :hethan:
  13. <thumbsup> <thumbsup> <thumbsup> <thumbsup>
  14. That's Battlefield 4. CoD is for kiddies. :D
  15. haha CoD fags. I guess I'm on the hatelist (I ditched CoD after MW2) Here we go..... ....waiting on Ed to post his. <lmao> <laughs>
  16. I was gonna ask if he'd come out and do tactical trainings out here in AZ... LOL
  17. awww... and I totally sh*t myself when I pulled this one at 200 yards (175gr reloads). Never could repeat it If you could do what you did at 800m, I'd be super jelly.
  18. Me very jelly at Ed's skillz.
  19. Lol...that's like comparing a Mini with a Ford Excursion and calling them the same thing because they have 4 wheels and have the same shape..... <laughs> <lmao>
  20. Airplane identification fail. How can you mistake a 777 for an AN26 Boeing 777 AN-26
  21. Gotta wait to see the data/evidence. Photos thus far have not shown any smoke trail from the said "missile". I've also noticed that the fragments/pieces shown so far on TV/CNN/Fox does not show fragmentation type damage typical of a proximity burst. Probably still too early to call one way or the other.
  22. This just breaking: Another Malaysian Airline plane crashes, this time in Ukraine. Could have been shot down, but separatist rebels are denying any responsibility. http://www.foxnews.com/world/2014/07/17/malaysia-airlines-jet-reportedly-crashes-in-ukraine/ http://www.kpho.com/story/26044289/official-malaysian-plane-shot-down-over-ukraine
  23. Keep the status quo. This just means that suppressors will remain overpriced and I can sell the ones I make at an insane 300% profit margin. <lmao> <laughs>
  24. The AR15 catch has a shorter "nose" and will not catch on the mag follower properly in a 308ar. OP, have you tried a DPMS LR308 catch instead of the armalite AR-10 one?
