If it's "DPMS compatible" then you're looking at LR-308 compatibility. AR-10 handguards will not work due to the different barrel nut thread. Another point to note is the difference between the DPMS high profile and low profile upper receiver (which will matter when choosing your handguard/rail). Most DPMS compatible uppers (except new DPMS stuff) will use the high profile handguard/rail. P.S. the Nikon M-308 already comes with a mount. A good mount but not something you can take off and re-mount without re-zeroing.
