Just curious, what is on everyones wish list with incoming and or already spent tax returns? Im looking to get a bolt carrier and new grip and possibly some flip up sights.

Thats like the ford/chevy debate . I agree with the cocked and locked, thats how I carry and I always go shoot with the lock on so I dont even think about it. Actually got so used to it I went and shot my sig 229 and I instinctively went to flip the safety down but there was nothing there. So just carry cocked and locked and stop reading into it. I would be more concerned with your choice of caliber but Its your personal choice. I suppose its better than nothing.

Hey guys, Just curious where everyone is pulling a trigger at? Im a member at East warren rod and gun club. I used to venture into MA and go to Copicut Rifle association awesome place but that was getting a little too illegal. Have friends at Massasoit gun club but thats just pistol. So where does everyone shoot?

I've got just under $1500 in the project so far and I can't go boom yet so I figured I'd shoot it with the camera. Tactical Machining 80% lower DPMS low profile upper CMMG lower parts kit and reworked 2 stage trigger (for now) KNS pin kit PRS stock Troy 13.8 battle rail Fulton 18.5" SS 1:10 NM barrel Fulton 308 Bolt (got a JP carrier on order) Home made SS gas block PRI gas tube JP Large SS compensator Stock grip which is def not staying

I almost got one of those. But I have a "low profile" dpms upper soI ended up getting a Troy battle rail which basically mounts the same way which I'm not a huge fan of but its a lot more rigid than you would think. Ive heard lots of good reviews on the midwest stuff though.

Got a chance to measure my clearance. Tube measures .172 where it passes through the upper recv. Recv measures .185 ??? Thats .0065 per side or .013 total. It just seems like a lot to me but this is my first build.

Yeah thats actually a VERY competitive sport. These guys break out all the fancy levels and everything.

I figured if worse came to worse I would prick punch the 4 "leafs" of the clover and swell them up just enough to take the play out. But If it works as is I will leave it alone.

Gonna need a bolt carrier for my first build and would like to get a JP carrier. Their site says back ordered and I was wondering if anybody has dealt with them before? Is it worth putting an order on the credit card and patiently waiting? Or will this take 8 months to come through? I'm ok with waiting a little bit but Ive heard some horror stories recently and was hoping this company would be on top of things.

Ive read about that the other day and thought it was interesting just because its so different. Couldn't find anything else on it though, its like the project just halted and he disappeared? Would have like to have seen more about it.
