  1. Hey guys, so thanks to Blue I dropped a huge wad of cash on some patriotic paracord just in time for the fourth, so I figured I would try to do a little tribute video to Billy Mays. L O L Anyways, if you can share the vid via any method of social media that you have available to you, you will have the chance of winning one of these three slings! You can find more information at BeachinTactical.com :-)
  2. Currently the sheath option is Leather. Getting professional Kydex done that is PREMIUM is expensive, and people buying a knife in this price range will know the difference between a good garage kydex sheath, and a primo one. So, right now we have some sweet leather, and it is affordable, so we can offer than and keep the price acceptable :-D
  3. Peter has helped me, but not directly on this design. I'll actually be at a table right next to him at BladeShow!
  4. My partners has G10 grips, but these first 5 production pieces for blade will be canvas micarta, with the exception of one in some CRAZY wood. Outside of that, these will be available as semi customs, so for handle materials, the sky will be the limit! 80crv2 is the steel we are using. Can it shave after cutting down a tree? Probably, there are a lot of factors involved, like how much dirt is on the tree, what type of tree, and what size, but most likely, yes! It's holds an incredible edge and is super, Super tough. First production run of 12 knives is planned to be around $350. With all that goes into making one of these, and comparatively on the market, that is probably quite a bit too cheap, but my partner and I will be getting paid 0, and $100 will go back to the business. I'll get some sweet pictures up once I get them up on a photo sharing sight :-)
  5. Hey guys, I remember that there used to be a section for us blade guys, and I can't find it, so please move my post if I'm in the wrong place, and I apologize in advance. It's been awhile, but last time I checked in here I was in the prototype phase with my survival knife, which ended up being called the Super Khuk, which is now going into mid tech production by Dry Creek Forge in Horsecave Ky. The knife draws heavily on Nepalese Khukuris, but on many other modern knives and designs and designers as well. The Knife all came together from testing knives, and being generally disappointed in handling performance in one way or another. Anyways, without further adieu, here is the release footage! A chicken gets skinned... So if your feint of heart, maybe this isn't the video, or the Knife, for you.
  6. Thanks! Idk why the link didn't work for you... YT is a pain. Sheesh
  7. The comments are turned off, I have gotten some comments already... It is odd that it isn't working for you... YouTube seems to do what it wants when it wants :/ Kinda like my WEBSITE! :///
  8. Where are our one point rifle sling fans at? Today is an exciting day, because I am not only re releasing the On Point sling, but for the first time ever, I am giving one away! All you have to do is share this video and subscribe to be entered to win the sling that is featured in this video! Check it out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u28pygI473c Ps, I think that next month I will do a giveaway just for you guys, so don't loose heart! But this month it is about trying to grow my YT channel.
  9. Lots of good info here guys. Let me get some pics up on here. :-) As it is, I have just stuck the detent pin in and called it good. Pretty bummer stuff...
  10. Yup, that is me. But that isn't the worst part. So, the front pivot pin spring and detent. I put them into the lower, and the detent got stuck, and wasn't working. I thought "oh there must be a little machining bur in there, and if I push it down more, I can probably work it back and for and it will loosen up..." NOT!!! I pushed it in more, and it stayed. I tried prying on the spring from the hole in the side, nothing. I tried everything that I could think of. Then I thought of what I should not have thought of. I thought, that detent is brass... it should be pretty soft, I bet that I can just drill it out, no big deal. Nope. All fail. AAaaallllll fail. :/
  11. Oh! Her build is done, but I mixed a couple springs up (trigger & bolt catch) and now I have to do it over. Except there is a problem with the lower... Or the parts kit that I got. Eh it sucks
  12. I'm jealous. Heck, I aught to dump social media myself... It would make a better person I'm sure
  13. Thanks! Do you have a yt channel?
  14. Alright guys, thanks! And Ill tell you what, on the first Ill do a giveaway that is specific for this forum, and maybe I will choose a few winners, since this forum has helped me out so much! That way everyone would get a pretty good chance of winning!
  15. I believe that was his title. In my newest video I mentioned him, thanking him for his loop adjustment idea, and thought about how I haven't seen in in quite awhile. Also, I am at 666 subscribers, so could anyone stop by and shoot me a sub? Lol I don't normally ask, but I feel like this is a different situation.
  16. Ill be honest guys, I am not quite sure where to put this, so here it goes! I am running a giveaway this month, but it is on Facebook. All you have to do to enter is to like my page, share the giveaway post which is pinned to the top of the page, and you get bonus points for tagging friends. You can get any color or style sling that you would like, which is exciting because I have 3 new colors of webbing coming in today, Kryptic Nomad, A tacs AU, and A tacs FG. Pics to follow when the colors come in! I also have 3 new colors of thread to match my work! Its hard to believe that after probably 500 slings I am still on my original spool of od green thread... Anyways, the page is Facebook.com/BeachinTactical. I am proud of my work, and I hope that somebody here gets lucky! Slings can be viewed at Thepreppersbunker.net Thanks!

  20. Alright guys, since I got an interview with James Yeager, I have been doing a lot better with my business, but I HAVE to keep the momentum going, so I am really trying to kick it up a notch, which means that I need to spend more time spreading the love on forums! That sounds great, but most likely this will be the only place that I post... Because I suck. Anyways, check out this new color of 550 that I got in! I think that it is sweet! And just fyi for my buddies here, I have 3 new colors of webbing coming in... all of which are EPIC! Check this little vid out! https://youtu.be/dvMV8znA3hQ
  21. Haha it all started here, I can't forget that!
  22. I have been gone for a long, long time. Basically, I was doing a gun show 2-3 times a month, making slings, and selling knives. I have now decided to take part in my buddies company, Dry Creek Forge, which I co own. Now i have Bladeshow coming up! BUT! I did a video interview with James Yeager recently, and I am hoping to be back in the sling industry big pretty soon here! So, I will try to stick around better. Glad to be back!
  23. Alright guys, I got all of my parts! The faxon pencil barrel was smaller than expected! So much smaller! Wow! For the final phase of this build, does anyone want to rent me some tools? I can build the lower, I think that all I need to rent is a barrel block and a headspace Guage... But please correct me if I am wrong!
  24. Alright, so I have a faxon barrel in my Brownells cart. Does anyone here make an affordable. 625 gas block? And maybe also a compensator style muzzle break? (that will sadly have to be pinned or permanently welded) I am also looking for a mil spec buffer tube assembly. I'll post in the wtb section.
