Whether or not you reload, I would go /39... and I am going /39. Cheaper to shoot usually = cheaper to reload. Besides, we are all doing /39, so that's what is cool!

Sounds good! I might go with that AR stoner now that I think about it, because its cheap, and just kinda cool for what it is I guess. I wont pay for a name I guess, but if two prices are the same, and one has "the name" I reckon Ill choose it, if all else is equal.

Hey guys, so I am under the impression that ANY decent mil spec upper is fine, and pretty much the same uppers rebranded by a bunch of companies, but really only manufactured by a hand full. With that being said, with this new 7.62/39 build, I am considering either going with Kak industries, since they made my bold and barrel, or Nordic, since I have been very impressed with them with my 22lr upper. Just buy a Milspec lower as cheap as possible, or are there some actual differences between different companies? Maybe I should just go Anderson/ AR stoner and save some bucks.

Its not often that I get to make every type of sling in one day. I'm shipping out two Baldrics, four Lite's, and 1 On Point slings. I don't enjoy making On Point slings, especially with two colors of paracord, but EVERY time I do it, it is SO satisfying. I really am proud of them, every one to me is a work of art. But they take like 4 hours to make LOL Thanks guys! Sketch, once I know what colors you want, I will get to work! And if I get my sizing off, I will redo it till you get what you need. By the way guys, whatever happened to 308Litehunter? I wonder if he knows that I changed the name of the Light sling to the Lite after receiving his help with the prototype.

My DPMS 22lr upper is made by Nordic, and I am VERY impressed with the quality of it. It is excellent stuff.

Very interesting. I am starting to do some research on it, but it kinda looks like everybody has a favorite brand, and just poops all over every other brand. Its seems like the magazines on these ar's have obtained cult status.

I will have all slings done today, but this is the only one that was done in time for pictures. It is a special build for Rob, and it features two colors of 550 on both the padding AND the coupler. Thanks for your support guys! If anyone else wants to try out a Beachin Tactical sling, now is definitely the time to do it.

Haha Derail mode! It seems like the heart of the /39 build is the bolt and the mags. Those stoner mags looks cool. I found C product mags I believe it was really cheap on magazine warehouse, Ill try to look that up. Any magazine brands to avoid?

So speaking of mags now, I hear a lot about asc and c products. Maybe I should start a new thread before delving into that lol

I like the looks of the Kak brace, and I like the... usefulness of the Sig brace. But I like both for this PDW. The $470 is for some whiz bang crap because the tungsten buffer that they sell with their spring is $100. But the base price is $250, and it takes a normal bcg, which is pretty big plus. The other benefit being that it is shorter than the above items at 5" collapsed, and it is 10" extended for.... versatility

Then I saw this, and thought about doing a 458 with this stock, without stupid form 4 bs. But now I am thinking that I need a Kak value line 8" barrel in 7.62/39... Oh man, its Beachin Tactical build time! What do yall think?
