Who else should I stay away from? If memory serves brownells was the only company I remember that I didn't think was trying to screw me. I love that site. What about budsgunshop etc? I have no experience with them, but I have heard they are also slimy

I think if I bought a hi point from ctd I might get elected to office...

Ok, so I have become a slickguns.com addict, but it is frustrating to me that cheaperthanyoursoul.com constantly has the lowest prices AND free shipping... I feel like they are selling at cost to destroy the industry... I hate ctd for its politics, especially if you remember how they were around the election. I have boycotted them this long... But would buying a firearm from them be akin to selling my soul to the devil? What do yall think?

petition to have suppresors removed from NFA list!!!

I agree! In reality, the second amendment is not meant to protect our right to keep and bear arms, but our right to organize ourselves as a militia as we see fit. Its like they knew we would need militias, and they knew militias need weapons, but they didn't think the future American population would be stupid enough to give up their rights. But militias are now highly frowned on, and considered "extremists" and the meaning of the second has been diluted to the point that words like "sporting rifle" and "sporting use" have become popular. *gagg The population has been fooled into believing the national guard is out militia, and the only legal militia, and even the national guard is being stripped of its strength by Obama. Multiple divisions just got the axe, apaches have been transfered out, and they are planning on stripping national guard units of their tank divisions and tanks as well. Its all bad. We are loosing this game of chess my friends. -

On the original pourpose of this thread, the petition doesn't have nearly enough signatures! This is crazy to me! I would have thought that it would have had 100,000 signatures in one week... If you havent already signed and shared the petition, please do! Here is the link again. -

Wow, cool find! I dont have enough internet to watch the whole video, but do you just buy the maglight body, a special end cap for both sides, and an insert to slide in? Then you get their muzzle break for screw on application? I have a muzzle brake for an aac suppressor, but I would gladly build my own and get one of theirs, and then maybe I could sell my aac break... I also just ordered a threaded barrel for the 1911! Sig emailed me and said that they accidentally ordered 60 extra, and that they would sell one to me for a %10 discount, free shipping, and no tax. Best part, no gunsmithing, and the warranty I said goodbye to a long time ago wont be affected... lol -

If you dont have a right to a gun, you dont have a right to life. I dont care if your a felon or a convict. If you dont have the right to defend yourself, you should have already gotten the death penalty. -

I served, and I whole heartedly disagree with you. I might be as far right as this forum has though... Any testing or qualification means that the govt, or someone being paid by the govt is regulating who can or cant have a firearm. That is the definition of an infringement. Although I realize you aren't basing your argument on the bill of rights, so i digress on that point. I believe that a nation needs to punish based on real crime, not perceived. In Germany I drove my little skyline like a moron every day and never got a ticket. Why? Because I never caused a problem. Now if I had cause a problem of any size and the police got involved and found out that I was driving recklessly, i would be in a German hole right now. And Germany has less traffic accidents per capita than we do. (I believe, but if someone proves me wrong that is ok) So Germany might not be the best example of freedom. Why regulate firearms when misusing a firearm is illegal? Why do you need to get someone on MURDER AND a weapons charge? The very purpose of the second amendment is that the federal govt (and the military it wields) should fear the people. Every Dick, Bob, and Joe has access to any military grade weapon and camo they want, and the right to train as they please (or not) in the use thereof. The lack of the previously outlined has led to the dissolvement of our rights, and the pussification of our population. We are being purposely diluted and discredited while scum is being hand fed and upheld in an effort to destabilize the nation, giving power to the central govt. All things that should never have happened if men like us upheld our responsibility at any time in the last hundred years. -

That is good to hear! I am glad to see our rights take a step forward, but it is almost scary to see our nation become so far and so strictly divided... -

There should be no nfa, and the atf needs to drop the f. Can you imagine a society that was ACTUALLY a capitalist society? And ACTUALLY free? Where every can had at least 350 hp, got 50 + mpg, and was affordable? Where you could build a house and buy land off of minimum wage? What is holding us back? Ole uncle sam and all the retards that cant think for themselves. Why is the vehicle with history's best mpg an '83 civic? Is the EPA really helping the environment with emotions when every cars fuel efficiency is cut in half? Anyways, the govt ruins everything, and needs to get its hands off ALL of our firearms. -
Idk if this is in the right place, please move if it is not. https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/remove-suppressors-nfa-regulated-item/wVgXbqP8 This link takes you to Whitehouse.gov, to a petition to make supressors easily purchasable without the 200 dollar tax stamp, and all the other infringements that go along with it! Please sign on the dotted line, so that SOMEDAY, I will ne able to get a nice, affordable suppressor. Besides, if they were easy to buy, more people would buy them. If more people buy them, more people will make them. And if more people make them.. well, you get it.

Makes sense! I understand %110. It too late for me... try to start a business in the gun industry, and there is no hope of keeping a low silhouette lol

Well, I kinda give them kudos. The ccdw is an infringement on our rights. No permits! No restricted weapons! If you want to subsidize something, subsidize high speed training classes and ammo! 'MERICA! -

Kentucky law states (I done feel like breaking the krs book out) that you have the legal right to defend someone else's well being with deadly force, but any negligence earns you the hammer, whereas in self defense it might not. For instance, a guy lunges at you with a knife, and you accidentally shoot someone else in the foot. It mightget you negligence, but it would be a hard battle. A guy lunges at someone else, you draw, shoot miss, and hit someone else in the foot. Your toast. I read all the krs laws on firearms, but I want to re read it, highlight the important laws, and memorize them, so I can repeat the law verbatim if needed on the spot. -

I have no responsibility except to myself and my wife, but I have no doubt I would throw myself into any situation in which I heard gun fire. It wouldn't be the first time, and if you value you life, it is stupid. It is stupid regardless. Anyways, there is a difference between responsibility and moral obligation. I expect no one else to do it, and maybe that is part of the reason I know I would. Those who love their life will surely loose it. Anyways, I done think anyone is stupid for taking responsibility for others. I also get nagged at for being the guy that picks up strangers... often... and gives my stuff away... But who you take responsibility for is personal. Who you are born having a responsibility for is yourself, and our nation cant even figure that out! Part of my belief, as well as a few others, as too responsibility and moral decisions are based on my religion. In a nation that was religious, we used to see peace due to these beliefs. Those beliefs, along with our nation, are dead. Ill leave that where it is ;-) -

It isn't ANYONE'S responsibility to protect strangers, except for LEOs, if they're present. 98, I agree with you, until the "except for Leo's" part. Now, we all WANT to think this is the case, ESPECIALLY those who done carry, and who live in fantasy land, but the supreme court ruled the Leo's have no responsibility to protect at all. Will many of them? Maybe. But when my life, or that of my wife, is on the line, do I want to trust an Leo who probably has a wife at home? Nope. Just another reason to carry. Personal responsibility. Leo's are there to draw the chalk outline, and hopefully find the bad guys. -

Rsquared, from my perspective, I dont believe he was talking about people such as yourself who are legally (and sadly) bound, but instead, about the person, regardless of the law, CHOOSES not to carry. He is talking about the person who dodges any responsibility like %95 of this nation. I don't believe he is speaking of the informed or initiated who live in a commie state, but the informed or initiated.
