I haven't had a shotgun for a long time, and since I am now a certified Mall Ninja, I needed to get the tacticoolest shotgun I could find. I had run across a UTAS-15 a while back, but didn't have the desire or money at the time. I had gotten turned on to a new local shop that had lots of reloading supplies, and I found the KSG on the wall at a decent price, so I did some horse trading and took her home with me.... This may be my new turkey gun.

IF S$W made that scandium framed revolver in an 8 or 9 shot 22mag WITHOUT the Ftard lock on it, I might own my first S&W in 20 years....

Really? I thought you guys were the epitome of "tacticool". I figured there were a few floating around, I'll see if I can do a video review in the next couple weeks.

Dammit... This followed me home.... Traded off some stuff so the hit wasn't too bad. I did buy a magpul handstop that didn't fit, so I gotta go back, so something else might follow me home....

I finally got a swivel Harris off the classifieds here. New they are still sub $100, I really don't see how I would need more than than. I only like to bolt them to a swivel stud, rail mounts and qds only add more crap to the rifle.

I was worried I would need to put some kind of rubber mat under them, or they would slip, but they tighten up just fine with no sign of slippage. It is odd that in the world of Chinese plastic, the only source for these is in the U.K.

Don't get me wrong, they are super nice, and they are worth what you pay for, but I don't want to carry a mag I would hate to drop and leave on the ground if it came down to it.

My breakaway coasters arrived today, and I ordered a set of Japanese sharpening stones.

The hole is kinda small, I can't see that it would work that quickly, I'd be more concerned about water in the barrel. But, I'll try it the next time I come up out of the water with my gun, the public pools should be open soon...

4-40 tap, and a 3/8" 4-40 set screw will solve the problem.

I signed up for an account on Ftard15.com years ago and they never approved it because of some shiite about my fing email. so F them in the ear. I have built many AR's without them.

Yeah, I saw that feature, but it's kinda pointless with the entire top of the mag open. The metal/polymer design is a much better selling feature. I'm still not convinced they are worth more than double the price. I had high hopes for the Brownell mags.

So to the best of my knowledge the Brownells mags have never materialized, so I cancelled my pre-order. I'm glad i didn't wait. But for some reason, I went from no mags to 8, 25 round Pmags. 8, 20 round Pmags. and 2 Lancer Mags. The only issue i have had with any of these mags are the size of the 25 round mags. Finding an enclosed mag pouch is a Bi'atch. I did find a 5 mag com block AK shoulder bag that will work ok.
