I was wanting to install an ambidextrous charging handle on my G2, but could not find one that fits this pattern gun. I found a Tac Latch by Badger Ordnance does the trick, Its not ambi but I'm left handed so the latch is easy to get a hold of, it adds about 5/8 inch to the charging handle width, easy to install, just drive out the roll pin an replace with the new latch. Plus it was only 19 bucks.

ok thanks, I just loaded a batch with lengths of 2.8 thru 2.790 ,meaning 2.8, 2.7975,2.795, etc, see if I have any issues, thanks again!

What are your hand loads AOL, I have been setting mine at 2.8" but they just barely fit in the mag. , what are you setting the rounds too, an what is too short? When do you see pressure issues? 2.795? 2.790?

DPMS said they used Backstop on it, its water soluble, but heat resistant. It wasn't gonna fall off, thats for sure!

Finally got that flash hider off, holy crap, soaked it for 2 days, tried the pipe wrench again with no results, put a little acetone on it, let it set an hour, then used a pry bar about 30 inches long an it almost jump off,amazing, barely put any torque on it at all.

Yes , Browning did develop an adjustable muzzle break called the B.O.S.S.. The story I read years ago was Browning was having issues with some BAR's that wouldn't group, when someone decided to loop some barrel off and got good results, there theory was barrel harmonics was the ticket. Anschulz had done testing also an found that a .22 lr barrel optimum length was 16 inches. They produced rifles with longer barrels, but were actually just sight extension for increase sight radius. Would be interesting to see if an adjustable break would help on shorter barrels.
