  1. Never heard of that one. Magwa have you done this yourself? Sounds like a cheap alternative and great if it works. But i have seen videos where people have done micro slick just on the BCG and they say it feels like its riding on ball bearings. They say if you have the BCG, inside of upper and charging handle done its so smooth there is almost no friction
  2. I recently found these guys. Check out some of their reviews seem to be good. Prices seems fair. http://stsarms.com/
  3. Interesting........hows does it work?
  4. Yea thats nice stuff. My neighbor has nibx coated BCG from Aero. Nice bcg! You still need to run a little oil as recommended, granted he was told there is plenty of people that run them dry. Not sure how i feel about that.
  5. https://www.army.mil/article/161883 Sounds almost identical to micro slick or the Anderson rifles. I spoke with Anderson rifles. They told me they dont do coatings for people's parts or rifles. You can buy an R85 Treated rifle from them.

Most of you guys are forgetting that the trigger does have " semi auto " I forgot that most of everyone that shoots firearms just shoot as job. Oh i forgot most of us just shoot to practice self protection. Thats right no one shoot for fun anymore........ Shooting is just for serious people. There is no way you can have a good time shooting. Wow come on. seriously lmao

Jerry is a legend. That guy shoot more money in ammo then most people make in a year

Wash that may be true when you do that type of shooting, but i have never done any mags dumps. I have shot rapid fire 2 or 3 rounds but thats it. Its controlled. AR as for " slapping a quick 2nd round " really doesnt sound like its uncontrolled when its very natural movement when firing a weapon cause your getting your 2nd round just by releasing the trigger. The only thing with this tigger if the pull is actually over 5lbs then its not going to be a precise shooting trigger.........

Why not have a quick double tap or 2 round burst? Two rounds into anything is better then one the trigger pull seems a little on the heavy side. Articles i have read on it saying the trigger pull is less then that video i posted.

Yea i think if people buy it just to do mag dumps then yea. But it looks really good for double taps. The only movement of you finger is on the pull , on the release there is no movement to fire another round.

Anyone use or have any experience with this trigger yet? Seems pretty cool. They have designed it to be a straight drop in https://www.gunsamerica.com/blog/fostechs-echo-trigger-fires-rapid-fire-double-taps/
  14. I think i would be more traumatize by having my finger work on out of a fishing tackle box ......LOL
  15. LOL. Not my guns. They get used and abused
  16. It does say it comes with dust covers, but im not sure if i be will to give up potential reliability or even safety.
  17. I found this looking for other parts. Will someone please explain to me how this will keep outside elements out of your AR with this receiver set? I know it a competition 3 gun set and those shooters are always breaking down and cleaning there guns constantly but this seems a little extreme. http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2016/04/05/new-open-308-receiver-set-from-f-1-firearms/
  18. I have a buddy that was climbing out of a tree stand while bow hunting. He got down to the 2nd to last step and decided to jump to the ground. Well his left hand was still up on a tree spike. His wedding band got caught when he jumped. Ripped half his finger off. Obviously not as extreme as this case but you never know. Yea so be careful
  19. Thats Crazy or stupid depending on how you look at that.
  20. Sketch ill try just for you buddy. He wouldnt let me take a pic last time we were out at range. He is a good friend of mine but his lower looks like crap inside. Dave you being a machinist you way ahead of the curve compared to the average person doing 80% lower.
  21. Dave i can tell you this much. The dimensions arent as critical as you think. I know this for a fact. My buddy recently did his 80% lower on his AR15. We were at the range and removed the rear take down pin. It looked like he scooped out the FCG pocket with a spoon. I asked him if he shot it yet. He said he had 50 rounds thru it already. He also went thru the front of the FCG pocket and the mag release spring was exposed to see. I was going to take a pic with my phone just so people can see how bad a lower can be done and still work. He was embarrass and closed the gun up. He has had zero problems with it. I still break his balls everytime i see it!
  22. The pocket you are referring to is the rear take down pocket. Majority of 80% lower receivers ar 15 rear take down pockets are already done for you. Majority of 80% LR308 or ar10 lower receivers aren't finished. The depth is in the instructions you have. Which is 0.625" from the top of the lower receiver.
  23. Found this on goggle not sure if this will help you. Its in a pdf file. AR-Jig-Instructions.pdf
