Yeah, I read the Gen 3 has a little fatter of a hand guard. Dont know if the difference would interfere with a 50mm scope bell or not. Nothing the correct mount/rings couldn't solve. What's the price difference between the Ruger & the Tikka? This is my setup

I've been looking at getting a Luminox, but keep changing my mind which one I "defiantly " want. Just have a couple inexpensive ones for now. A blacked out Casio & a Timex Expedition. Both glow for a while after light exposure, the Timex also has a blue indigo light.

For anyone more inquisitive about the Sightmark Wolfhound optic, it's pretty much the $300 affordable knockoff of the $1700 Elcan Spector. Similar reticle and function & about the same weight even. 1.5lb vs 1.3lb.
