Not that I need another round to load for but I always wanted a 1911 in 38 super. Any one of the custom guys make 1911’s I’d be satisfied with.

Problem is I can’t own a safe queen it would be a shame to put some wear on it.

And loud as hell. id pick either my 375 socom or 10mm the socom is subsonic and suppressed giving 357 mag energies but single stack ar mags are still pretty limited. The 10mm is a 10mm 1911 and also limited in round capacity.

Red sky or red head both beautiful

First impression is good. Feels slightly thin in the hand but not bad. Thumb relief feels good. Fit and finish could be better scale screws on one side are a little proud but not horrible. Knife sits a little deep in the sheath so initial hand grab is slightly sub par. Overall for the price I like it. It will be my boot knife with my kabar tdi on my belt weak side.

My boy is thinking about getting out of the cop business. Can’t say as I blame him. Caught in the middle of those that want to burn you and those that want to use you as an example. Bosses don’t have his back and the rules have changed on the street. He’s still pretty young and only been doing it about 10 years. I think he already gave notice but we will see.

My advice is way the pros and cons as you see them and get the one which ticks more pro boxes. We can’t read your mind, best for what? They are both entry level basic guns that can put meat on the table. If you are looking for best deal and the marlin is in good shape it’s prob the better deal. scope and 100 rounds will cost more than 50 bucks. But I have not seen the gun - it may be trashed.

Why is it when redoing trailer wiring that some one else wired it’s a pain in the a$$? Takes longer to remove the cobbled shiit than to run the new wiring. Ten minute project took all day. All because I caught the light with the lawnmower and broke it off. I guess I deserved it for being a dumbass
