Welcome from Alabama. I started with a dpms oracle (gen 1) and immediately disassembled it and used the frame and bolt carrier for my build. All other parts are in my storage bins. I never fired it as a 308.

Agreed on being there and the scalding water getting disgusting. I do multiple pots of water and do about 18 birds twice a year. I think we are going to try hatching some meat type birds instead of getting the Cornish cross already hatched.
