@B-Man are you looking for the barrel nut for the M5 or for the M5E1? If you’re needing the M5 nut to fit an Aero handguard to it, I’ve got one I used to mock up a build. If you’re interested, let me know. I don’t need it anymore.

It’s hitting the frame when the knife edges of the beam are put in place. Were there different versions of this scale or something? Maybe the wrong beam?

That’s what I was figuring, too. It’s the interference on that paddle looking thing on the beam against the upright. I tried to show it in that fourth pic.

I visited my dad in Michigan for a week, and he decided to give me a whole load of “extra” reloading gear. Among this stuff is a Redding 325 gr scale. I’ve never messed with these before, and can’t quite figure out how this thing is supposed to go together. I suspect the beam doesn’t go with the rest of the scale, as it looks like it has a paddle for oil dampening, but that’s just a guess. There’s also another part in the box I can’t figure out at all. No pics on the net I can find showing it. Some kind of tarnished brass arm or weight. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

Update: Big thank you to @COBrien for hooking me up. It works great on my setup. I’m still going to try to get that piece from SAGE Int’l, as it feels like it wanders a lot when adjusting due to the angle.

So I’ve got an Aero M5 stripped upper sitting on my shelf that’s just begging to be built into a new gun. I’m curious as to what, if any, lower receivers will fit and function with it, aside from Aero’s. Tried the search function on this one, and came up deuces. I’ve found several different lowers on GunBroker and other sites, but don’t know which play nice and which don’t. Are there viable options for lowers here, or do I just need to pick up another Aero and not bother with the rest?
