  1. A rifle length DPMS buffer is 5.285 " long Im not sure what it weighs. Slash may have it on his buffer chart
  2. jmatt51, Perhaps I'm misunderstanding something. You should not have to mill anything. The buffer tube of the correct length with a proper spring and a buffer of correct length and weight should work without you having to modify anything. Something is very wrong.
  3. The new Colt CM901 modular system is about to blurr this line
  4. At least the voices in your head knew what to do <laughs>
  5. im gonna need to ponder that one. Is the buffer retainer somehow interfering?

  8. I read somewhere that a little filing was needed but it could work. I struggled getting them on an AR-15. Super tight, no play.

  16. Yes but none of those companies contribute one cent to keep this site going..
  17. I have different procedures depending on the block. In general though I try to use the various flat surfaces. If the block is railed I will use the picatinny rails on flat surfaces. If its a low profile block I use the flat at the bottom of the block with the bottom of the upper receiver or magwell. Did the instructions tell you not to place the block against the shoulder on the barrel?
  18. I heard from these folks today. They guarantee 3/4" moa from their Precision AR-10 with match ammo. <thumbsup>
  19. Yeah you should, but perhaps they have finally caught up.
  20. How long is the lead time? I tried this in the past and gave up.
  21. Both chrome units are the same. If you want a DPMS chrome carrier get it from Fulton or JSE. Do not order it from DPMS. It may be a year or two before you see it.
  22. look down one more line at the $289.95 unit
  23. not allowed to have a threaded muzzle in CT. Pinning and welding is the accepted work around
