  1. Does anyone have a .936 gas block I can borrow for photographic purposes to illustrate the issue?
  2. Fulton Armory BCG's are DPMS. Most guys prefer the chrome. It has better lubricity, is easier to clean and its purdy. They both work fine.
  3. I just got one from JSE a few weeks ago, I cheaped out and got phosphate.
  4. I dont know anyone who actually owns a JP Fulton BCG's are DPMS Here you go
  5. I was going to suggest that earlier but that can get pretty pricey too. Your choice of handguard will really influence your final cost. If you want free float with no rails it wont be expensive but if you want a decent railed model and a barrel youll be pushing $600 and up. What model is your LR-308? lets see a picture <thumbsup>
  6. I just removed the threads
  7. Just call Rainier. They will help you with everything AR-10. They are a first class organization. There isn't the same parts proliferation for the AR-10 as there is for the DPMS/SR-25 platform
  8. http://www.dpmsinc.com/store/products/?prod=5994&cat=1951
  9. We are seeing .308's well below $1000 here locally which is why I said what I said.
  10. IMO, For the price of that upper you might be able to find a complete rifle on the shelf for not much more $$$

  12. for the price Ill probably get a few to try.
  13. good to have you back man <thumbsup>
  14. Midway has some awful reviews of stainless Shooting Star mags. Whats your thoughts? The mags are on sale and Im thinking of grabbing a few. The blue steel looks an awful lot like the Kimber.
  15. yeah thats the spot
  16. This evening I was comparing the Kimber mag to Ed Brown 8 Pack and a Wilson Combat 8 round. Without a doubt an no surprise the Kimber base plate fit the weapon best. The Wilson and Ed Brown left a gap between the magwell and base pad. It was extra ugly because of the shiny stainless mags. ;D
  17. This is the Kimber Tactical Entry II I mentioned elsewhere.
  18. Decided to go this route rather than pinning and welding a muzzle device.
  19. it's a regular for me <thumbsup>
  20. Keep in mind Armalite used the KAC SR-25/DPMS mags originally.
  21. Heres a quote from Greg at Kaiser from 3/9/2010 Magazines
  22. Well not that long ago they said they had zero interest in a piston gun. I'll they are trying to get more parts proprietary.
  23. I know this much. DPMS barrel nut thread and Magpul's work.
