  1. now it's supposed to keep going until tomorrow. Insult to injury the asshole mayor postponed Halloween...until tonight. Oddly not a single trick r treater showed up.
  2. So a few days ago we got the prediction of a pretty nasty Nor'Easter headed this was with lot's of wind and rain to further pummel those in already bad shape from hurricane Sandy. Then two days ago the forecast changed to a little less rain and maybe a bit of wet snow up north. Then this morning and even lunch time the prediction was for a little wide spread snow on the grass and nothing on the roads. Do I really need to tell you what happened next?
  3. I would skip the Rainier Select and go with the Ultra Match if it was my build. For $100 more your getting a premium barrel and leaving less to chance. Or get a Krieger Criterion from Fulton Armory. JMHO
  4. I went two years without getting laid before I hooked up with my better half. I know all about waits.
  5. I like it!
  6. Looks like a Mega product to me. Aesthetically I dislike this keyhole system. Looks out of place on a firearm. On the positive you can hang a firearm anywhere you had a picture on the wall ;D
  7. As a life long woodworker and shooter I have pondered building furniture to conceal firearms many times. In the end I still think it's somewhat of a risk because around here at least the perps are often destructive in their quest for crack money. I think a spot for a handgun and mags is a great idea but I would not store a collection in a piece of furniture. That said if that bookcase is made of hardwood or hardwood plywood $3500 is a pretty fair price imho
  8. drums back in stock. M14 drums also being offered now.

  10. Lyman 1200 Pro Tumbler Lyman’s best-selling tumbler, the 1200 Pro is a great entry-level tumbler at an entry-level price, with an added bonus. It also features a built-in sifter lid for quick and easy media separation, so it saves you the cost of buying a separate sifter. Heavy duty, thermally protected motor runs smooth and quiet. Holds 2 lbs. of media and cleans up to 350 .38 Special cases per cycle. Media not included.
  11. Nice to see Brownells add the SYRAC ORDNANCE FRONT ADJUSTABLE GAS BLOCK to their catalog. Aside from the ability to adjust from the front the adjustment system is detented. More info at AR15.com
  12. I get that a lot. New Haven is very liberal. <laughs>
  13. I do not but polishing the surfaces can only improve surface area and contact
  14. welcome
  15. Well my Tactical Armz STRYKER B.A.C. .22 Suppressor has arrived at my Class III dealer. Now begins the painful wait from the BATFE. The Stryker is going to reside on my CMMG Sierra .22 upper. Going to be much more aesthetically pleasing than my Silencerco Sparrow as the Stryker is sized like a 5.56 Suppressor. Hopefully I will have it in hand by June or there abouts BTW B.A.C stands for BIG ASS CAN

  19. BROWNELLS - 360 Series CAR-15/M4 FLIP-UP TACTICAL REAR SIGHTS Watch the video here. Rugged flip-up sights provide instant backup when primary sight fails or weather conditions limit its use. Robust cross-bolt with oversized, slotted hex nut locks clamping block tightly to Picatinny accessory rail for zero sight movement. Clean, low profile design won’t snag on other gear when folded down. All models regulate with mil-spec A2 carbine sights or same-height aftermarket sights—perfect for co-witnessing with non-magnifying red dot and holographic optical sights. Precision machined from hardcoat anodized 6061 T6 aluminum and heat-treated 4140 steel for repeatable settings and the strength to handle the rigors of combat. A2 windage knob on rear sights provides precise ½ MOA adjustment. Standard Rear - Versatile, .108" diameter aperture gives an excellent field of view for both short- and long-range targets. Deep grooves on the sides ensure positive grip for quick deployment, while ball detent lock resists accidental folding down during strenuous maneuvers. Tritium Rear Sight – Adds to the Standard rear sight, self-illuminating, Trijicon® Tritium inserts on each side of the aperture that glow in low light to help you quickly align the aperture with a tritium front sight post in all light conditions. 360 Series Rear - HK-style rotating turret for maximum accuracy out to 300 yards. Knurled turret collar with machine engraved range index marks allow quick aperture changes; two ball detents lock turret in place at each position. Close-range .160" aperture provides a large field of view for close combat; three .070" apertures are trajectory calibrated for the mil-spec M4 at 100, 200, and 300 yard ranges. (Best accuracy with 5.56mm (.223) ammunition that duplicates the military M855 62 grain FMJ load.)
