We are fine here and at my old ladies. Pretty incredible that we have power when so many around us do not. Of course last time this happened they turned us off for 5 days to perform repairs so you just never know. I had a lot of debris in my parking lot. I think the way the buildings align everything swirls and lands here. Travel was a bear today. Monster pine trees down everywhere as well as big elms. Many roads are not passable. It took an hour to go what would normally take 10 minutes. Reports of houses being washed out and floating in Long Island Sound. Cant get anywhere near the locations. Savages decided to go window shopping last night. Many cars with smashed windows, empty glove compartments and missing radios. I guess they were feeling a little entitled last night.

Here in CT we have over 150,000 without power. Just now the news said within the next 2 hours the worse will roll in and stay until about noon tomorrow. One street over a tree fell on a car and took down the power lines The wind sounds like a low flying jet.

My un-interuptable power supplies at home and at the office are going crazy. Folks all around me without power. My old lady just called. Her parents just had a tree split in two length wise.

The governor was on at 6:30. They expect sandy to be the worst storm CT has ever seen by anyone living. This is going to suck because the last two pussy storms caused me lost power for a week. We still have a lot of leaves on the trees. It's expected that there will be coastal devastation with 4 high tides 7-14' above normal. We had 7' for about 6 hours last year and it was bad. This storm is supposed to sustain for 36 hours. Currently we are getting serious wind gusts. We are not even expecting the storm to reach us until tomorrow mid morning. Supposed to exit early Wednesday. I think the folks 180 degrees from us are going to get hammered with wet snow.

Right now they expect the storm to hit land in New Jersey but they figure it can go 100 miles either direction. The governor was on and he said expect 7"-14" of rain between Sunday night and Wednesday morning. Greg you guys should not see it too bad relatively speaking. The storm is supposed to track straight inland rather than head north. We need the rain too but not like this.

Here we go again. Almost a year to the day as last October's blizzard. I hope we arent in the bullseye this time.

Well Im loving the this bike. After 3 weeks Im up to a 12.25 mile loop a few days a week when weather and daylight permit. Distracted drivers will be the death of me.

I poked around for info it seems these barrels are mostly available from Brownells/Police Store. Double Star does not list them on their site. Looks like a nice bull barrel option at a fair price. I'm thinking of picking up the 16" model to go with some other parts I have laying around ;D

Well Rainier Arms totally botched a .22 Suppressor transfer. Been waiting for a dealer to dealer approval since July. Then they told me to call the feds and figure it out. Well with some help I figured it out. They never verified BATFE received the form 3 fax. As SOP they are supposed to call for verification. I have lost 3 months on this. My first bad experience with these guys. So Im waiting on two .22 suppressor transfers and a 300 mag suppressor . The .22 from Rainier and a .22 and 300 Win Mag from Tactical Armz. and a new bicycle helmet ;D

Whenever possible I try to be armed with a manufacturers part number regardless of who's site I order from.
