  1. Only for consistent accuracy. I wouldn't bother for 9mm, or any other round i intend to plink with. Plinking ammo only needs to be "minute of soda can"
  2. When you replaced your gas block, did you also replace your gas tube?
  3. For the record.... There are pictures of me shooting the pink AR.
  4. Jen wants the PWS 1-6x off my rifle... I feel your pain.
  5. I couldn't help but notice Dawn still doesn't have optics...
  6. I concure. I pray that my son is 10x the gentleman that I was. I was a father's nightmare, and it ruined what could've been a lot of good memories and friendships.
  7. I added him to my friend list... just so I could UN-friend him.
  8. Phenomenal deal... and the bastard won't ship... http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=956493
  9. Looks like 44mag.com had them in Stock for $21....
  10. Want!!!
  11. Are those S&W mags? I thought those only worked in MP-22??
  12. It's really hard to beat the durability/affordability or a Magpul stock. They are an industry leader for a reason. Even so, I have to say I have been very intrigued with MFT products lately, and that'll likely be my next purchase. Their "Minimalist" products look too sweet to pass up.
  13. It doesn't just win. It sets records.
  14. Hahaha hahaha I'm going to have to go back and reread the build on this rig....
  15. I don't know. My Springfield mags for my TRP Operator look identical to my Wilson mags??
  16. Modern rifles recoil a lot less, even the .50 cal, than they used to. Due to the distance you'd use a gun like this for, you'd be able to recover your line of sight long before the bullet reached the target.
  17. Chip McCormick "Power" mags. Also Springfield makes their own 8rd mag.
  18. It figures Rene likes the "Blade". Lol. I've seen him showing off his collection before.
  19. Would've preferred if this was a snuff video...
  20. Blue, is that yours? That's HAWT!
  21. Any AR15 rail/handguard will fit... With the appropriate barrel nut. The G2 standard barrel nut has the same outer dimensions as the AR15. You just have to disassemble the delta ring. I recommend the APEX
  22. Also. Buy a NiB carrier, and then send your upper receiver to WMDGuns to get coated... I shot my rifle for the first 16 months without oil or cleaning. Never had a single failure.
  23. I wouldn't go longer than 16"... honestly, if you're adding a can... build a 12.5" with a permanent can. No SBR stamp needed if the can is permanent, and bbl OAL is over 16". Take a look at the design from McMillan on their "Alias" rifle. There's a company who's entire reputation was built on lightweight accuracy.... Military shoots a 14.5" bbl (in 5.56) out to 600 with open sights... If you can't do that with a short 7.62, your sniper needs a new partner.
  24. Ps. After playing with my buddy's SW MP-22, I am very impressed. It doesn't feel like it, but it runs great.
  25. I built a custom dedicated .22lr using TACCOM3G parts. It's a great rifle. The only reason I didn't buy their complete rifle is because I wanted to use a matching MAG Tactical magnesium upper and the MI keymod rail.... There should be an entire thread in it here somewhere. I gave it to my wife as a valentine's gift. Honestly, I'd build the kid a regular .223 and then invest in a .22lr conversion. Most of the "dedicated" uppers use the same conversion kit, with some modifications. Also, invest is a few cans of "Gun Scrubber". I have a few thousand through mine now. That damned .22lr is a dirty little bastard. After a few hundred rounds, I start to get a few FTF's. Just squirt that SOB down, shake the shiit out of it, and get back to shooting.
