JGshooter
Hey there, I have owned an M1a1 SOCOM,, and now in the market for an AR variation .308. I'm thinking the Rockriver arms operator, or Bushmaster ORC carbine. I reload, using the 168 gr sierra HPBT and varget powder, which I have used for my SOCOM, is there any changes in reloading data that I need to take into consideration, going to an AR .308? imschur
Thanks for joining JGshooter. Keep in mind the Bushmaster is DPMS LR-308, in fact the Freedom Group is shuttering Bushmaster. That said there seems to be awesome deals around on the Bushy. How do you like the SOCOM? Thats on my list.

98Z5V
If you're looking at cross-breeding with aftermarket parts, I'd advise not going with the RRA gun. There's so many little things that are different from the two "basic" types that you'll have a hard time finding aftermarket support for it. My $0.02. Welcome aboard, by the way... ;D

6132expert
Well lets just say I could ALMOST have a 6.8 and a 458 RRA upper assemblies for what I got in just my lower DPMS.
