Rsquared Posted December 23, 2014 Report Posted December 23, 2014 5/8 x 24. I take it, that it's the flash hider type that you want to replace. If you're replacing it with another AAC adapter, I'd say go with the Brakeout comp instead of the full brake. I have both on various rifles. For good all around use, the comp works great. Now, if you don't give a rats ass about the guy next to you at the range (and why should we)..........the full brake smooths out a lot of the recoil.
