survivalshop
So have you physically witness the light primer strikes ? What ammo was used ? Did you replace the Hammer spring because of this light primer strike problem ? How often does the rifle has this issue ? ? & aprox. round count of rifle ? beachmaster
I shot zq1 through the rifle when I owned it. I believe the current owner said that he used "surplus", but ill talk to him and get more info on that. Round count... if I had to guess, I would say well under 200. Possibly under
Tripledeuce
If I may rejoin the conversation? Sounds to me like the bbl is over-gassed, and the chamber needs to be polished. just my 2 cents. Respectfull Terry

beachmaster
Thanks for the input! This was probably not the rifle for the guy I sold it to... he purchased it because he thought that a 308ar shot 7.62/39... I was really up front with him on everything, and he still wanted it, but he might have been better off with something more standard :/
survivalshop
Are you going to work on this rifle or leaving it to the GS ? If not tell him to just lubricate it good & shoot more good ammo ,to let it break in , it is a Build rifle . I have a CMMG 308 lower that will not function reliably with PMags , Steel mags work fine . Edited January 25, 2015 by survivalshop
beachmaster
I'm not going to work on it, but he will most likely look for a gunsmith. I suggested lots of oil and ammo. Lol Whatever the case, I hope that it works out for him!
