New cheaper thermal imagers

Without naming a product to avoid the rule, now there are starting to be some cheaper, $500-$800 thermal imagers out to use with Red Dot sights. What do you guys think? Useful? Or save up for Gen2 or 3 night vision? This is one example.

LOL, funny, I lived on Calias Dr just on the other side of I-5 on their contact map 46 years ago, I remember looking out over the freeway and seeing that whole area burn for as far as you could see, there was nothing there but grass hillsides, but it stuck in my head.

Sorry to digress in your thread, was just a time warp sort of moment! ;-)

The thermal units look intriguing, will have to keep an eye on those guys, thanks for sharing.
